@@demresakini5111@demresakini5111 I'm not too familiar with everything Smeg makes as the brand is so confusing with who makes what but I know that Beko definitely make all of their laundry appliances except for integrated models and possibly makes their fridges too. here's a smeg branded washing machine on AO ao.com/product/wnp96seauk-smeg-washing-machine-white-97467-1.aspx and here is the exact same washing machine branded as beko for £100 less ao.com/product/b3w5961iw-beko-ironfast-recycledtub-washing-machine-white-95860-1.aspx things like drum and drawer design can typically give away who makes them. I think everything is low quality now tbh nothing is built to last or to be repaired. the vast majority of appliances are way too complex on the inside with all these touch screens and features. the older beko's before late 2021 where very good for the money but I can't say the same about the current ones.

@Washerboy2006 Beko products are not preferred by conscious people even in Turkey. I would never buy them.

@ I see them in a lot of peoples homes I visit even more so than all the brands you mentioned combined weird 🤔 the vast majority of people I know wouldn’t spend over the odds for appliances just for them to last the same length of time

it was quite good I preferred it over a candy made hoover. a good thing to know though is that the spin performance isn't great. the only cycle that spins at 1600rpm is eco 40-60 and all the other cycles including spin+drain only spin at 1450rpm despite being sold as a 1600rpm machine. it ramps up very fast on final spin too so doesn't give itself a chance to drain the excess water out properly so that also makes the spin results worse. mine has since been sold on to a new home but it was a very good machine all around aside from the spin and creaky door hinge :)

hey I appreciate the comment :) it still works perfectly but I don't have it in the house anymore. its in my appliance shed now. I had a period with it where the display kept freezing up on me but that was fixed via a software update last year. I can't lie though I personally wouldn't pay such a high amount of money for a washing machine now but it is a good machine. it's better value for money than the lower end mieles that cost £800-£1000 as they have more plastic parts and nothing to them :)

@@MajorAdaom Hey again apologies it has taken me to reply. my best advice is to keep it simple and go with a known brand but don't go as cheap as possible. these wouldn't personally be my cup of tea but I've heard a lot of good things about bosch their series 4 and 6 models seem quite good and don't go overboard with stupid stuff, they adjust the wash cycles a lot depending on the load which is why they aren't quite for me but they seem like good machines. I was always more of a Beko person when it came to laundry appliances but nothing is built like it was used to and Beko had a major quality drop with their laundry appliances when they changed their design in late 2021 🥲 go with your heart is the best thing I can recommend now :)

@@kianbramble7484 I wouldn’t really say I have a favourite tbh they’re all fascinating and unique in their own different ways :) if I could only keep 1 washing machine out of my collection though I’d probably say I’d keep the beko WTL as it’s the most practical :)

@@thelaundrycookie1200 yeah I kept most of the machines parts and only scrapped the cabinet and drum so I could rebuild it again in the future. this and the wd420 where both scrapped just before I got the asko set 🥲

@@SproutyPottedPlant the best understanding I have of it is basically when a washing machine drains it’s not possible for all the water in the bottom of the machine to drain out. Some water gets left in the waste hose and a bit goes back into the machine. Chugging happens when the pump only has a bit of water in it and it basically gets pushed up and down the waste pipe. I saw you say about the waste hose moving in your first comment and yeah that’s why the chugging makes them swing about haha. a pump that’s tilted slightly backwards like Mieles tend to chug a lot more aggressively too than one that’s straight but doesn’t mean a straight one can’t do it. You should watch some videos of a Dyson contrarotator doing a wash. They have a clear filter on them so you can see the water draining out. It’s quite fascinating haha 😅

@@Marti1184 yes it was completely dead beyond repair after under 3 years of use. The heat pump system completely went on it and the part alone costs nearly £300 to fix 🫠 the evaporator fins at the bottom let A LOT of fluff into the evaporator system too as they removed the foam filter that used to be in front of the fins. I ended up getting the matching Miele dryer to my W1 washing machine and it’s a lot better 🥲

​@@Washerboy2006 It's sad that today manufacturers make equipment with such a short lifespan😢 I'm currently faced with the dilemma of buying a washer + dryer set from Grundig (GR7700 series with a black control panel) and Bosch (6 series), there is a good promotion. But I'm also considering Electrolux and LG. Today it is no longer known what to choose because none of them are failure-free anymore🤷🏻‍♀️
