I know you're joking, because I'm actually playing to a click that was created against the original recording. I use it to keep it steady, as this is an easy one for me to push the tempo if I don't have a click to keep me at bay.

They don't sound bad with Ambassadors on the bottom, but I prefer a thinner reso head. It's all preference!

@@BrianHarrisDrummer Cool. I have an old 70s vista lite kit but I just strung up the snare for the first time yesterday. Trying to decide if I like it or not but it's still settling in. Do you use any muffling on yours at all or no?

Paiste 18” Signature thin China on the far right. It’s bright! And the little one in the middle is a Wuhan 12” China with a cracked 8” Wuhan splash turned upside down on top. It sounds more like another pair of hihats, but trashy. Zildjian ZBT is a low line / cheap model. So it’s not going to sound very good.

There are always some on eBay. Check there. That's where I got my last 2. However, the trashy ones are much harder to find. The trashy (broken LOL) ones in this video don't have a finish on them. The ones with finishes have a completely different tone to them (not trashy). I have one of those. Hated it at first, but it grew on me and I just use it as a single hit crash, not one that I would constantly bash for a breakdown type beat in place of hats or china. LOL
