Ruben and I didn’t have a disagreement. He wasn’t even listening to the point I was making. He kept interrupting me while I tried to clarify for him. He brought up random things that weren’t applicable to the point and then acts like I was upset about “a tv show” and a “disagreement”. It was his behavior I was done engaging with. He doesn’t pay attention on these streams and then interrupts when he doesn’t even know what was being discussed. He’s just plain rude. Go play games if that’s what you’d rather be doing than engage in the discussion in earnest.

So glad Picard got the full Hollywood Premiere experience ... and it's not even a movie. I guess some series are the new motion picture events. I feel like Le Var Burton has other stuff going on but Michael Dorn has given so much to Trek and yet so very little is being returned. While others, don't even show up for the premiere. Hmmmm. Thanks, SFB. You really are a credit to the fandom. Especially in times like these where IDIC is so poorly understood.

Out of all the reviews I've seen for this episode, you two were the only ones that mentioned the Halbrand to Adar line, "Do you remember me?" Sauron absolutely wrote this show. Yall consistently have the best reviews on Rings of Power week to week. Great job.

Thanks for the show y'all ... sorry I couldn't really chat but was able to listen along. I too have done 2x speed for TOS to join the live SFB stream. And glad Robby stayed on cuz this show is nice. I enjoy it and his insights that give the panel authentic Euro cred. I think Totty and Reuben have tough times with it cuz they are comparing performances from Viggo Mortensen and Kate Blanchett. It just can't be done. It's like comparing Nimoy and Peck. So so so unfair. Cuz just like in SNW, RoP is portraying younger versions of the characters that cast the mold. Allowing the younger Aragorn-lite character to have sufficient gravitas to pull off a similar SFB maneuver. Albeit the stakes aren't so high to cause a massive genocide. But that's what makes today's SBAD stream so enjoyable. The interplay among the panel. Hearing how Totty decries the Legolasesque "prancing" and "twirling" during the swordplay is priceless. I'm with EGT. I wanted more of that type of training to point where all the fighters learned to prance and twirl in order to Ju Jitsu their opponents. And honestly, what are Elves supposed to do? These elves don't even seem to have wings. So surely one can't deprive these elegant and effete creatures a touch of flourish as they dispense with their enemies. Alas, I tuned in for the HoT D discourse. That show is sizzling. Sir Criston continues to amaze. Is he an F-boy or incel? RUclipsr Daniel Greene thinks that he's an F-boy. SPOILERS for ep. 6 - But since it's been 10 years and he's still not getting it on with Alicent he seems more like an incel. Which explains his anger with still not getting over Rhaenyra rejecting his offer to run away and be poor and powerless together.

loved zardoz since first seeing at back in the 80's when i was 14, it blew me away and for me gets better with each viewing, i would love to see it remade in the mould of BSG and westworld that could take the time to dig into the ideas behind the movie.

I did not like the dialogue in this show too much. It felt too modern and it felt like it was missing technobabble that we have no clue what they are discussing. That was my problem with this show. Unlike Mandalorian & Book of Boba Fett they used dialogue to reference things that belong to the universe but not sure exactly what they are referencing.

I did like that the first episode does start with A Long Time Ago in a Galaxy Far, far Away...

I don’t like the idea of Obi-Wan interacting Leia before A New Hope. I like the idea of they never meet since Revenge of the Sith to A New Hope.,

I agree with Text Trek that I never asked for this show. I prefer Book of Boba Fett & Mandalorian over these episodes. I feel like there are too many humans in this show on Tatooine.
