Most ping pongy locc to date, terrible gut will def retake at some point, was in a different room to tools, kids were watching movie and was spirit of moment affair.... took ages, but hey an enjoyable open still and very cool mechanism. Sorry for the terrible video quality and commentary

Deceptively cool locc, i remember poking one of these when i first started picking and being confused at why such a basic looking locc wouldnt open. Well constructed and interesting pick as it seemed like it needed/wanted heavy tension but a light touch is needed.
Assa v10 Mogul with barrels picked and gutted
Просмотров 9716 часов назад
WHAT A LOCC! This came from Feral, and was super crisp with new pins despite being an older unit. I swear the sidepins got harder to pick each time i picked them, but the barrels in this also were fantastic and overall this was one of harder loccs i've done. Great work Assa!

Bilock Exclusive pick and gut

great bilock lock! first side was a fairly easy set, but second side required very fine and careful control, another great member of 'the trilogy' as i call it. zero unmastered, SCEC, and Exclusive. monotone narrating apologies, one of those days... This can ONLY be picked to removal with pinning it came with, I couldnt remove the core, its SO TIGHT. Hope this is ok for link to scorecard.
Assa 4800 combi, picked and gutted finally!
Просмотров 14921 день назад
Assa, wow. Tricky locc, lots for me to learn, do not be fooled by the brown belt ranking, this has all the tricky bits in it, with only 2 less sidepins, HIGHLY recommended! and such a good feeling finally getting an open. Can honestly say this was equal or harder to black loccs so far, at least where I'm currently at. Great pick with minimal feedback, and very closely interacting systems, so no...
Assa 600 picked and gutted, mmmmm gins

high lift on pin4 had me for a while, hard to get it out of countermilling. Lovely pick and great to get an open on another high quality Assa puzzle. Gins are great fun
Security Edge picked and gutted, reverse sidebar
Просмотров 7321 день назад
I cant prove that I did this from scratch as I do have keys but it took almost 3 hours to shape the sidepin/slider bar, and many tries of picking. I had great rotation for most picks but the sidebar was still hung up on the edge. This may be public first ha but not why i did it obviously. This annoyed me as I got no feedback even when I removed it from the padlock body and picked ccw?! Then pen...
Sneaky reverse sidebar 😂 i have a plan..... but for another vid

Assa Twin 6000 with barrels, awesome
Просмотров 15821 день назад
First barrel pick, WHAT a locc! Assa just blows me away, well this era of Assa anyway. Quality and tolerances are insane, sidebar is lovely, pins and gates super sharp, countermilling perfect. Great pick, and overall very responsive lonk!
Assa 600 gins, with sidebar
Просмотров 2628 дней назад
Interesting and unranked 600, with those lovely quality Assa gin bottle drivers, but sprung sidebar so makes it easier and able to be picked with a single loose tensioner. Super fun pick!
Evva ICS unmastered pick and gut
Просмотров 26Месяц назад
Got it! second side was far more difficult for me as warding seemed to not let pick tip in, and angle of head and being right handed plus the loss of depth perception and no decent idea through pick feel which pin pick was on made this a great challenge!

Wow .....😍🙌🙌🙏❤❤❤
@@vladinica6003 thanks took me quite a long time but it took a while to figure out the magnets! Also i dont tend to rehearse my picks... so it is what it is...
Nice lock 😍🙋♂️❤ cheers mate -greetings from Serbia
@@vladinica6003 cheers mate! Hey thanks from New Zealand!
@pinballsmith you have very good locks. many are not available here in southeast europe. i guess it's the same in new zealand... 🤗😅😄😍
@@vladinica6003 yes very much the same in NZ, we have to import anything good. I have bought a lot from Australia as there are some very good loccs there, a very strong loccsport community and also they manufacture galaxy, bilock, and previously Lockwood in Aussie too!
@@pinballsmith ok. if you are interested in a European lock... I want to know... maybe I can help.... ❤
@vladinica6003 thanks, always interested, what sorts of loccs? I know some euros but dont have anything particularly in mind
Nicely done, also you got the dogs out?? For free!!!??

I REALLY ENJOYED THAT very much indeed 👍 In one sense I wish that I had some machine tools ,but in another I'm pleased that I don't. You have set my little brain into an effing spin . I sincerely hope that we get to see the first pick . Cheers and all the very best to you and yours 👍 🍻 🍻 🍻 🍻 🍻
@@BeercanBushcraft thanks mate very kind words 😁 well sounds like this one might be pretty hard, 7pins in v config....!
Really neat to see the craftsmanship! 😄
@@Loose-Shirt6551 thanks mate this one was a decent challenge thats for sure and i only had one go at it! Not many if these around
Absolutely love it . I would definitely copy that ,but I don't think my hand tools could cope with the accuracy . Nice one mate 👍 🍻 🍻 🍻 🍻
@@BeercanBushcraft ha thanks, the v2 or sHVp has a lot more improvements but would be hard to do without machines i think. Possible! But hard
@@pinballsmith J Gabriel did something very similar by creating a trench trap and adding in an undercut, so the very thin spool end rode in the grooves - if you get my drift!? Anyway very creative of you mate and I've now got my thinking cap on.
@@BeercanBushcraft i need to watch that video i think it got linked already
@@BeercanBushcraft hey btw i keep saying this was inspired by a video made by Artichoke2000 and the patent was from 1935, the segal pickproof
@@pinballsmith thanks for that, I didn't know anything about Artichoke, actually PickSmith told me about you. Very interesting indeed 👍 Obviously I'm going to have to give it a go hand crafted!

👏 great job mate. Legendary
@@Rob_Lockpicking_v2.0 cheers Rob such a great locc, first open was 1hr6min 😂, 2nd 36min then this one got down quite a bit more was stoked. I actually kept doing this because my phone kept splitting the videos so i had to shorten it so i can submit it in one take 😂
Excellently done, a real black belt that one. Got it quick on video too.
@@alpama37 thanks Alpama you got me good 😂
Strong work!!
@@ArtichokeTwoThousand thanks mate!
You are off your head. Insane skill.
@@Rob_Lockpicking_v2.0 ;) cheers mate, the first version was pretty average and once picked it had to be picked straight back as codebar couldnt be removed
Those keys are seriously good, they turned out so well. Is the code key generic along all the Galaxy locks, would that code key function in my lock. Thanks for showing these, cheers
@@PocketWomen thanks! It is specifically for each system so the only real way is to pick out codevar and decode, am pretty sure that i could decode remotely with good pictures and measurements once picked
@@pinballsmith okay I will keep that in mind. I have a couple of them. Would love to pick them one day, no keys

That is bonkers. Cool AF but bonkers. Bloody well done mate
@@martinward7239 haha thanks mate
Absolutely incredible
@@Rob_Lockpicking thanks Rob! Was fun to make
Nicely done, certainly took a while for me to understand it too. Two ways of doing it, the kinder method is using a deep inset like you have assuming a zero cut disc after the butterfly (works in about 40% of abus plus locks). But the other method is to tension off the butterfly and use Mick's method of counter rotating to test if it's set or not and to really force the discs into contact with the sidebar, which can be pretty hit or miss in my experience (or maybe I'm just bad at picking, always possible).
@@alpama37 cheers Alpama, what a relief when it opened 😂 the other 88 is playing hard to get too, great to learn their tricks thanks for advice
Well done on the repeat pick and gut of this very cool lock. Cheers
@@PocketWomen thanks! Is a lovely open gives a crisp sidebar notch 😁
@@pinballsmith I enjoyed the video of your kid opening the Brinks, they slayed through them, cheers
Excellent picking. That was a tough lock. Figuring out how to pick it as you go and having to do a reset in the middle with a great recovery. Well done on the gutting, a recoverable disaster with just the one casualty. Thanks for this video, cheers
