Climbing hills , breaking through thin ice, going through tight trails . GO ANYWHERE …!
That’s an awesome machine. Those little quirks of manufacturing are exactly what i was curious about. Thanks for walking us through all of those accessories.
thank you
You're right! I do want one now! Do they float?
Fun to drive, but being a passenger is like riding on the tilt-o-whirl at the fair. Plus, you can't drink a beer while driving them 😂
I have always wanted an ARGO but cannot justify the price of a toy with the amount of use it would get
Yay argo , always gets you there but never home 😂
Are they high maintenance They look under powered
. They are definitely capable machines. Nice video . 👍
fun times!
The argo's are ridiculously expensive for what they are. $43K+ for the top of the line model and have to pay extra for the tracks and the soft cab. Don't get me wrong , it's a nice enough atv but, it's really not that special to command that price tag.
They aren’t cheap but they are awesome machines!
do you have heat inside ?
what is this engine , and if this enough ? and hp. thanks
It's literally a lawn mower engine
Real snow cats have metal frames cabs, heat and STEEL grouser bars on the tracks. Climbing hills this thing would be a pig in a wallow. Icy conditions would make it dangerous to drive.
This things for actual work around the property and getting a stuck snowmobile or tree that has fallen and needs to be moved off the trail and this isn’t a dedicated snowcat anyone with half a brain knows that
This is Not a snow cat it is built for all seasons
Well Argos did drive across the Arctic several times . And everyone survived , Can a snowcat do that ??
@danernest6806 no it dod not cross the arctic circle nor Antarctica it is built well and for all seasons but can not be modified enough to withstand the 80 and 100 below temps and high winds that both poles have. Nor does it have the power to pull enough supplies to make the crossing at either pole. But it is a well built fun for all seasons anphib and it can get to sime prety remote places. Yes snow cats such as the famous Tucker made the trans Antarctica crossing and the russians have a big machine as well that made it cant rember the name of that one though.
@@steveewing3156 this isn’t a snow cat goofy incel
Fantastic!
💥 'promo sm'
I'd check to be sure you can use these on public trails. Some places do not allow them
C'mon dude ' live on th edge !
@@jamesmiller7283 always a cop in the room
Oh, if i only had bought that 1000 acres in northern Michigan. Oh, and the $38,000 laying around to pay for that sweet machine.
As a hunter I want silence! Artic cst can give me stealth with their 4/stroke. This machine is a dozer but two loud! Artic Cat told me market is going stealth 🤗🇺🇸🇨🇦
Way before watching this recording! The 8X8 with tracks, can do things a side by side tracks wouldn’t dream of!
How are they in -41f bud
At that temperature make sure it’s not in gear when you start it… 🥶
CLEATS,,
I can tell you what happens when your TRACKS don’t have CKEATS on them.. just pull out on ONE SNOW PACKED CRUSTED OVER Slope,, ,,, and BUCKLE UP,, been there, done that
Here In MAZZURAH,, Don't Own An ARGO,,But I Do Own The Movie,,And Live At ARGO Hill,And We Also Have A Township,,Old ARGO,,And Old ARGO Presbyterian Church,,,👍🇺🇲❤️🇺🇲💯🤠🧑🌾
Do they do well in -40f?
Oh yeah 👍
These are underpowered. 3 feet of snow, and you are stuck. Get a ripsaw
I bought a ripsaw. It blows this away.
That’s awesome. I’d love to see it !
Thanks for sharing. My husband and I have an Argo and it is nice to see a group of them doing what the Argo does best. Making a way where there seems to be no way. 👍
That is awesome! Thanks for watching!
How do they do in deep snow?
Great!
There need more power like a 3 cycle diesel and more high under the bottom. Carry on boys .
Plus with a liquid cooled engine you could install a heater in the cab
Thanks everyone for watching the videos. LIKE COMMENT AND SUBSCRIBE PLEASE!
It's hard to explain an Argo to folks that have never experienced one. I love mine, and your video shows that you've got the bug too.
Well said! I watched your video years ago and it really helped me make my mind up about getting one. Thanks for watching and thanks for sharing your videos !
I’m thinking that thing is kind of spendy with all the accessories that you have on it.
Yeah, 58,000 dollars
@@mattdelany6799 WOW 😮
They’re not too bad, but poor quality and absolutely not enough ground clearance. Nice Video.
They’re great when everything is going well, but very expensive to maintain if you’re going to have one it’s best to be able to repair it yourself
By taking a proactive approach to maintenance, being resourceful, and exploring cost-saving measures, you can effectively manage the expenses associated with maintaining an Argo Frontier 8x8 with tracks. Remember that regular maintenance is key to ensuring the vehicle's longevity and reliability, ultimately contributing to a more enjoyable and worry-free off-road experience.
I'll pass 😁 I'll keep my bombardier
The Argo Frontier 8x8 with tracks is an all-terrain vehicle designed for navigating challenging terrain, including snow, mud, swamp, and rough terrain.
👍
Awesome, Greetings from Dillingham, Alaska!
Hello there! I’d love to go to Alaska someday.
Is the Argo insulated against severe winter weather? Does it have an internal heater system inside for warmth?
You can get it as an optional. I will say on my 1990 the engine when its running is almost like a natural heater.
@@northsidecoolguy5041 From what I have read on argo's website, that have now insulated it more so engine heat won't be a heater anymore. So I'd say it's going to get right chilly in the winter.
@@Blueknight1960 probably want to get a heater in that case
Wow
If that is your definition of massive, you need a dictionary 😂😅😂
Where were you camping what province?
Nova Scotia
What part of Nova Scotia was wondering if you were close by where I am? I’m in Shubenacadie ns.
great cabin, can I come up if I bring steaks and beer?
Am I seeing left hand drive on these?? All three of ours are right hand. Are the newer models left side now ??
Yes Argo switched it to the left side a few years ago.
Great info. Thanks for sharing.
Argos are some serious offroad machines! I love my 2000 Argo Conquest 8x8!
They are way to loud
Another secret is to put bolts one each end of the windshield rods!! otherwise, it will pull out from the vibration it is just crimped to the plastic so the bolt helps this. Never had one come apart since Also the 2 holders for that rod on the windshield I bolt through as well. Also a bungie from the top 2 window bracket to the front bumper acts like a shock and helps with the back and forth of the Top 🙂
Great tips! Thanks for watching 🙂
