Hi Father, although I was baptized Catholic and received my first holy communion at a very young age, I wasn’t practicing good faith throughout my life. I went to church and confession sporadically, but never really understood the faith or the sacraments. Recently, now 57 years old, I was called by God and renewed my faith; however, I have so many sins that I don’t remember what was confessed earlier in life and what wasn’t. I feel like I should renew my baptism now that I’m studying the Bible and have a grasp on understanding catholicism. Is this possible and/ or is this how I should proceed? Unfortunately, the church I attend as well as many surrounding churches are very lax, and don’t have confession more than once per week (only for 30 minutes prior to mass in which many don’t get in due to time). There’s no possible way that I can truly confess all of my sins that need forgiveness. I have repented at home as more are revealed to me by the Lord, but it’s not to a priest. I’m truly stuck and confused on how to proceed. Several churches in my area are closing and/or don’t have the time for people like me. Can you help me so that I can save my soul? 🙏

Also I recommend everyone read Dr Brant Pitre's Jewish Roots of the Eucharist. He explains that of the four cups of the passover Jesus drinks three at the last supper, In the Garden the Cup he is praying about is the Fourth cup which is the sour wine vinegar that he drinks on the cross.

This reminds me about the comparisons between the Apparitions of Our Blessed Mother. Each time, there is a warning and a call to action. Once again, there is another Apparition of Our Blessed Mother in Međugorje.

Each time a Holy Angel appears in Scripture, the next thing that happens in the encounter is the one or ones to whom the Holy Angel appears is amazed and afraid. When we read these words, amazed and afraid, which means something similar about the Apostles, might the Apostles possibly have sensed something was different, such as was the case with Zachariah, the Blessed Virgin Mary and others who encountered Holy Angels. Might this passage be comparable to the appearance of the Holy Angels? Is it possible that there was a spiritual or miraculous manifestation beginning from this momentous event? Wouldn't Jesus Christ/before the Resurrection have known that the Greatest Spiritual Battle was coming. Wouldn't Jesus have been preparing His Disciples for what must have been, in military terms "a clear and present danger." Wouldn't The Holy Spirit be present whenever someone is in the presence of Holy Angels? Is it our belief that all three persons are present whenever any one of the persons of the Holy Trinity is present? Wouldn't this mean that The Holy Spirit accompanied Jesus Christ? Yet, perhaps, The Holy Spirit is, at times, more actively present when there is something miraculous about to happen. Is it understood that Jesus Christ was and is in constant dialog with The Holy Spirit? Is it also believed that our Guardian Angels are in constant communication with all three persons of The Most Holy Trinity? Wouldn't this mean that one would be wise to follow and obey whatever their Guardian Angels gently, patiently leads someone towards?

I took it as bittersweet, just like the song. It’s the same in revelation; it tastes sweet but is sour in your stomach, hence experiencing the bad in order to end in the coming of the Lord and salvation. God bless🙏
