The shooters do the same, but different. The shooter with the cap looks like calmer at manipulating the bolt. His right ellbow is permanent on the ground and the rifle move less. Also he lift his head less so may be I think its easier for the next aim. Only my thoughts... Iin germany we have many different shooting disciplines but something like this not, ... its very interest.
Impressive shooting. It should be called the Soknedal mad minute or something else to differentiate from the original. Because you are bound to get endless comparisons to the original "Mad minute" British military exercise and record holder. And really the shooting skills here stand in there own right as an excellent display of marksmanship that should not be compared or criticized against the original Lee Enfield British military challenge.
He won because she had to shoot one round with wrong ammo. It spread out like crazy. She might have won if she didn't. Her dad needs to do more cardio.
The soldiers seem to have the sling set up to support their hand, rather than the rifle. A very interesting and innovative configuration to deal with a non free floated barrel. I'd love to come to Norway and compete, even though this is not my style of shooting. Are there any foreigners that travel to Norway to participate?
Fekjan....Jondalens store sønn,,,skyter alltid meget godt!. 16.43..
Carl Morten Boine is there still full bore/service rifle biathlon shooting/competition in Scandinavia? Or just by the now rather anemic Olympic standards?
In Norway DFS (www.dfs.no) consists of approx. 850 shooting teams spread throughout the country. The DFS has over 137,000 members in the shooting teams. About. 15,000 members under 18 years, so yes we still have a lot of rifle shooting competitions.
Carl Morten Boine Good answer, but that was not the question asked. "Is there still full bore/service rifle biathlon shooting/competition in Scandinavia? Or just by the now rather anemic Olympic standards?" That was the question. REPLY
Well this was ammo worth some money.
refreshing to see entire families supporting these skillful athletes and the laughter in the interviews!
Shout out to “guy with a Krag” in the first round. Old school.
Helt latterlig bra
Now I want a 200 STR for absolutely no reason.
They're great rifles
most used 6.5x55 or 308?
6,5x55 (99,9%)
22:01 Dab lol😂
How popular is this competitive rifle shooting in Scandinavia?

Jenny Stene at 27 mins.... unbelievable talent. regards from Australia

Jerry incoming, lads !
Excelent Shooting ! 👏🏻👏🏻
Fantastic!
Which finger do they use to pull the trigger? The ring finger or middle finger? I might try this technique!
The middle.
It would be nice to have these rifles available in the US.
Mom, can we have SIG Sauer 200? -No, we have SIG Sauer 200 at home.
super
google translate and I can translate the subtitel - cool
Tanks from Germany
As a NRA high power shooter, I find this very interesting. Wish there was English subtitles.
mid range + infantry trophy = stangskyting
Can someone translate this or give captions in english by chance?

ruclips.net/video/kp0KGpBFG60/видео.html watch real mad minute here
In Norwegian, it's official name is "Stangskyting"
I need to learn Norwegian.
Why was caliber 5.56 and HK416 used, is this caliber not allowed !? Thx
military use their standard HK416 with 5.56, so it is allowed YES (only for military, not acsess for HK416 for sivilian).
Blir for dumt. Mye kulere med rått talent.
Den bolten ser virkelig bra ut
Så jævla uheldig du va Jenny. E såååå nææært! Bei totalt stressa😅
You've got to love how they do it in Norway, the whole system and support.
Nice👍🏻
Poor barrels! How often do this folks change them??
It depends on maintenance, i change my 200STR barrel between 5000-6000 shots. You'll know it's worn out as you won't hit the broad side of a barn.
Nice...

Had absolutely nothing to do with the ammo. You have obviously never tried doing the same in a final as intense as this one.
He won? It is not a tie?
Well that’s one way to ruin a nice new target barrel
These can take that. They're made to withstand it
I love the videos, nice shooting sports
como se llama esta modalidad ??

+Brian Murphy I have never seen any foreigners participate.
Same same Brian. It is a very old school style that I admire. Would love to try it.
There has been a couple foreigners but not that many
Jenny is the most beautiful girl I ever seen 😍after my tiny of course
Fekjan....Jondalens store sønn,,,skyter alltid meget godt!. 16.43..
How many rounds? What were the numbers?
The best man (Thomas) shot 36 shots and hit at all 36.
Carl Morten Boine Many Thanks!
