A normal day in Caracas
I always say its not about the money in war what difference does having a salary if your gonna die in war its not about money but being with the men and brothers next to you
Как фильм называется?
Black Hawk Down
Ridley Scott before someone cut his balls off was great director.
Заебашили Пиндосов
They probably knew that any helicopter pilot would risk his life to save theirs as well
rusia,?!,Bahwa Timang soehadoyo pro conterra Musashhi marcopollo
2:01 - BUG : M16 instead M14 previous gun
you know there's other guns laying around inside the helicopter right?
@ full size m16 laying around inside the helicopter belongs to nobody - yes, of course … 🤦♂️
@@JoeMcCohn DUDE...read the book.
Both of these men knew what they were doing, stared death in the face
and death flinched
It’s what you do right now will make a difference! It’s your call. That’s a true leader!
I've read a lot of combat biographies in my life; I own several of them. Mike Durant's personal account of this scene gets me worse than anything. First, that at least one (possibly two) other members of S-64's initially survived, and second (I apologize if someone doesn't know this yet, but it has been 31 years) what the Somalis used to hit Durant was not a rifle...
Gordy's gone man, I'll be outside. Good luck :(
Is this a twins game
At the Special Forces museum in Fayetteville, NC they have a section dedicated to this. If you get a chance, see it.
I cry everytime 😢. They had families back home but sacrificed everything they had anyway. Very selfless.

My son is nearing enlistment age and wants to be an operator. He has avoided war movies because he knows none will be truly realistic. He asked me to give one event that would encapsulate the spirit of above and beyond for a teammate. I showed him this one...He did his semester final paper on both of these brave men Randy Shughart and Gary Gordon.
Jus realized Gordon is the actor who plays The Kingslayer in GOT
That’s a whole Lotta knuckle draggers to deal with!
That's why there's no such thing as "you're carrying too much ammo for this puddle jump/patrol". One thing I always wondered was why they didn't try to recover enemy AKs and use those and the mags. Was the incoming fire that thick? Appreciate it if someone can enlighten me.
Backwards savages.
Always hard to watch, especially knowing what these heathens did to their bodies. Usual suspect behavior that will never change.
Historical additions; A third Delta operator was with Shugart and Gordon that day. Sergeant First Class Brad Halling provided sniper cover with Shugart and Gordon from their Blackhawk, Super Six-Two. When Durant's bird crashed, and the Delta Operators waited for permission to go in, Super Six Two also was hit, wounding one of the crew-chiefs. Taking control of one of the M134 mini-guns Halling stayed with Super Six Two, while his two comrades went in. Shortly after, Super Six-Two was struck by an RPG. The explosion took off Halling's left leg above the knee. Super Six Two to return to base and crash-landed. Halling survived and was to be discharged for his wound. He refused it, even petitioning the Army to reverse their decision. It was granted. Not only did Halling stay in the Army, within two years he was swimming and running and skiing. He was even put back on airborne status. Doing twenty years in the Army, he retired in 2000, with the rank of sergeant-major. All the crew of Super Six Four crew survived the crash, although all are badly wounded. When Shugart and Gordon reached them, the two Delta operators moved them about to form a perimeter, distributed weapons and ammunition. The film has Gordon being the first killed, while some, including Durant himself, believed Shugart was the first. When both Operators are killed, the mob overran the site, killing Super Six Four's crew except for Durant. According to him, when the fight was over, the militia lost twenty-five men killed.
One of the top war movies ever on the top with Saving Private Ryan!

The trade off wasn't fair sending two good men to die in order to potentially save one guy. The question remainds: Why they dropped just two operatives on the ground, when the chopper could have make a couple of passes minigunning all the insurgents before???!!!
This the saddest part of this movie .. i felt trauma watching this scene when i was kid
Durant's book is a great read!
This part made happy and sad .Two Bad ass Mf. Excuse my French.
this is migration 2024
Balls of steel
If anyone knows the music for 3:48 please lmk that chanting is always haunting whenever they finally defeated some the bravest warriors known to man
They went down to that hell to die with their brother in arms. I cry every time I see think about this moment in history.
I havent seen this movie since it was out. But, is that jamie lannister?
This has haunted me for years
Cringe comments
How our politicians kill our very best
“It’s good to see you.” The man knows he just volunteered for certain death. But he’s relieved and proud to possibly save a single brother. A level of selflessness 99% of us will never approach.
3:45 what a bunch of fucking namals
1:15 man that's a GREAT gun in bad company 2
Filmed in downtown Detroit or Chicago ?
Well it is called a black hawk they must really wanted it back.
At the end of the day it’s never about politics, the flag or anything. It’s about your brother in the foxhole. God bless our troops.
Nah it’s good to see you idk why but I love that line …delta force man some bad ass motherfuckers
These guys ARE the standard. My drill sgt was a Mogadishu veteran as was 2 or 3 other drill sgts in the battalion. he had a picture of him having the bronze star with valor hung around his neck up (by Colin Powel or Schwarzkopf) on the wall of the squad bay. And you could see the other non combat veteran drill sgt's were in awe of him and the other guys because this was a period (1995) where there werent a ton of guys with combat experience.
Nooooo, es Jaime Lanister!
Is that Jamie Lannister?
4:14 this is what Chicago looks like now.
😂

Like a modern Zulu movie. Just a few white men massacring Negroes
