Texas played one good team --- and got crushed. Like Miami and Colorado, they are a team I hope gets in, so they can be crushed and then we won't have to listen to them for a while...
The Texas comp to Miami and Colorado is interesting. Cody and I will talk about it on tomorrow's show for sure!
@@johnbuhler9109 I'll be listening.
Miami will lose to the field, no matter who is in it. Colorado not much better.
You might be onto something. I wonder if the ACC or Big 12 champion can do much of anything vs. Big Ten or SEC teams in the playoff, too.
Texas and ATM have played 3 common opponents: Florida, Miss State and Arkansas. ATM beat Ark by 4 points; Texas beat Ark by 10 points. ATM beat Florida by 13 points; Texas beat Florida by 32 points. ATM beat Miss state by 10 points; Texas beat Miss State by 23 points. I don’t know, I think Texas is going to beat ATM soundly. (Texas and Indiana have a common opponent too: Michigan. Indiana beat Michigan by 5 points; Texas beat Michigan by 19 points.)
These are all really good points. Cody and I will address these on tomorrow's show!

Fresh subscriber standing behind an up thumb. Here we are looking at six of the top 7teams in america that have all played one or another only eight weeks into only a week season!!! It seems relevant to question why these games were even televised let alone sold as high stakes collisions!! It looks far less like a game of elite value than it does a game of shells seeking value!!! What was the value of the oregon vs ohio st matchup? Actualy what is the value of a second one? Why didnt we watch bob ross deliver a mountainscape of actual value upon his easil rather than switch to georgia vs texas collisin 5weeks ago of such insignificance that even a home loser lost no value!!! Wow that penn st vs ohio st collision was a meaningful contest, home loser seens to have locked itself up and a seat on couch,, for their conference title game , and a home playoff game a few weeks later along with the loser of that big ten title game and winner gets bye!!

I indeed have subscribed and love your work!! It seems you guys agree ohio state is in better form than oregon yet aa the favories ir seems you both agree that ohio state has far less on the line today!!! The planet i grew up on both would pur it all on the line today, yet the one i landed on i dont think either put anything on any line today!! In fact id argue that a loss may pay off, further on down the line!! A one loss ohio state or oregon who misses big10 champ game gets lined up in pisition for the most valuable home game the sport has ever offered!!! Of what advantage is it to ohio state to sit out week 13 instead of week 12? Week 12 is a neutral site against the hottest program in big10 , week 13 is a game on campus against a two or three loss program tagged as a " title contender" and sent out to ohio in mid december as 20point underdogs at the most difficult away game this earth has ever seen where ohio state has won over 90 percent of their games dating back to the eighteen hundreds? In fact it may not be long before we hear discussions about the possible advantages of acrualy loseing one of your games!! Just last year that georgia loss to alabama may be viewed as a reward to a program whos punishment is having to add a game of unpresedented value to home sceduel as huge favorites vs liberty who would radify societies perception of group5 after losing a game that in realty possibly no team may have won this century!! Let us not forget just a few years ago after cincinati lost to alabama and while country dismissed it as a uncompetitive blowout, that ended that little experiment of group5. being competitive, the michegan wolverines were on national tv getting destroyed and far less competive.. Il go out on a limb and suggest that ,if the sport theoreticly was stableized or even legitimate enough to keep this latest idea in place for a century, that math would stabalize and reveal that home games, on mid december tuesday nights than they were on autum saturday afternoons , are a nationaly televised shell game, sold as elite level marchups, but won at better than an eighty percent clip at home!!!! And the shell game that country will keep throwing their tokens into is still manufactured, from their office but now, upon the four handed home games, who math would stabalize to reveal equal or greater positions to win title while road warrior titles could realisticly become dismissed as folklure by the generations that it eluded!!!

You know they were pulling for OU when they call it a "late scare" for tennessee 😂 it was 22-3 when Josh decided to play the most conservative game of football known to man. Even ran the ball 40 plays in a row at one point 😂 the game was NEVER in question for the vols. Could've been 45-15 by the end of the game if they weren't so conservative the second half.
Survives a late scare? It was 25-3 until 8:30 in the 4th quarter. Lol.
