looks like the south Island adventures are off to a great start, a bit of 4x4 driving and epic camp spots nice work.
Another great video! Looking forward to the next one. Take care! Lots of love from Mateja, Matija, and Matjaz.
Good evening people. First of all, I need to get one thing off my chest. I hope you don't mind. Actually 2 things. So #1. I LOVE what you're doing, while you can. And #2..I LOVE with a capital L...your cabin. For me, the fireplace does it for me. I picture going to the nearest river with a bucket, for water, and walking back with a good hoar frost around, and looking up at the cabin with the smoke going straight up in the still air. Aaah yes. Hey I was at the lake just yesterday, but it was blowing like crazy. And cold. Sorry about no snow, but I guess that wherever you are on today's date, you are probably experiencing the white stuff now. The Leopardsgowild channel are in the thick of it now. Just sent a heads-up. Take care, particularly over bridges. Thank you for sharing. Love your channel. All the very best.
another awesome video! - looks like the Cruisemaster airbag suspension is doing its job well
Great video. You should consider getting a B.E.S.T. water filter, they connect onto your hose and your hose that goes into you tank. Carbon and silver safe and can be back flushed. Burnsco sell them. A great safe guard when traveling as you never sure how safe the water is.
It was nice to meet you at Tekapo. Keep up the good videos.
G’day, NZ is heaven on earth
Beautiful scenery. Great footage. I'm just jealous, that's all.
Glad you enjoyed it yes awesome scenery!
watch out for those cross winds in 🏜 and on 🌉
Towing a building that’s not aerodynamic is something! However once you get there you get more space and headroom. What a marvellous adventure!
Thanks yes we preferred comfort once we arrive at our location over efficiency getting there.
that was pretty good weather for ngawi, you were lucky. I was wondering how your tiny home handled some parts of the road out there, I was out there about 4 months ago and road was quite bad.
Yes we were very lucky with the weather. We just took it slowly over the wash outs and with our airbag suspension it soaked it up easy.
This is korban saying this and I'm there cousin
Nice one cuz!
Such a superior waterproof roof compared to tin sheets and flashings. Well done.
Thank you yes it is very durable for the weight!
Trailer is looking awesome, bit of a mission working around covid restrictions and getting materials
Yes but we got there in the end thank goodness 😅
Hi just found your channel, first very sorry to hear about your wife's cancer but looks like she's doing great now which is excellent to see so enjoy your travels. I'm down in the south island and been looking to build a tiny home similar to yours I'm wanting it to be light enough to travel with as well as semi permanent living. Do you have any suggestions, if you happen to do a short video on specs and pros and cons on your build I'd love to see and appreciate that. Anyhow I've subbed and look forward to seeing more of your travels and will look up your other ones. Have an awesome trip around NZ with your family 😊👍 PS I'll have to check out Ngawi when I'm next up north looks a great little spot. Thanks.
Hey mate thanks for the sub! Where are you based? I have built 3 of these now and are happy to give you any pointers.
@@tinyhousehybrid5210 I'm in the Nelson region. I have to finish off getting my house renovated and sold by the end of next year so I still have a bit of time before I start the build yet just looking to get ideas on weight saving costs and trailer builds suitable for travelling with. I like the idea how you sweeped the rear end of trailer up great idea for not dragging/bottoming out through uneven ground, looks like it might work like a skid too when it does drag maybe... I went back through your build videos thanks, Nice idea with the roof and cladding for weight savings. Be really interesting to see after a year or so a short video recap on what held out well and what didn't work so well with your build if possible. How long do you plan to travel for in this stint? Bet you guys are having a blast. Your kids will remember this for the rest of there lives. So cool mate 👍
@@bush600r2 Cool yes it will be interesting to see how it goes after a couple of years travel. We are in Tekapo at the moment with -5 outside and its a toasty 20 inside so all good so far. Keep in touch!
A great looking trailer design and serious suspension set up.
Thanks yes it has been a dream to tow.
Great to see your design ideas and learning from the previous cabin

You deserve a few more than 600 subscribers! Awesome video, I love Ngawi too.
Thank you so much!
G'day folks. Just found your channel. Liked and subscribed. I'm also on "LeopardsgoWild" so I guess I'm spoilt, with 2 channels to view. Love your cabin, and love your woodfire, so I guess it's pretty cosy. If it suits your schedule, would love to see you here in Murchison. Thanks for sharing. Take care.
Hey mate we just left Murchison this afternoon would have been great to catch up!
@@tinyhousehybrid5210 OK. You win some, you lose some. Thank you for sharing.
Recipes would be great 😊
Noted!
Great video of your family adventures. Look forward to the next one.
I wish you and your family well and what you are doing is wonderful. As for education: starfish absorb oxygen from water through channels on their outer body and removing it from the water could lead to them suffocating. You can take food for consumption but taking a living creature from its environment or interfering with it for the sake of a video should be discouraged.

Cool house guys ❤
Wow a great video done like a pro. I’ve subscribed to your channel which was recommended by Mike Leopard. Visited Ngawi many years ago for a day trip, such a neat spot, unfortunately it was blown if it tits off. You timed it right with your visit. Loved all the bulldozers and the walk up to the lighthouse.
Hey thanks for your sub mate! The leopards are awesome great content. Yes Ngawi is a great spot I grew up in the Wairarapa and learnt to dive along the coast there.
Awesome that things are going good and you are having adventures. Team Kawerau
This is the first video of yours I v watched and subscribed

Kia ora All...that was maybe the best 21:55min i've experienced in quite a while👍!!! What a lovely, caring man you are, for your courageous wife and two clever kids🥰. That camera, drone and selection mahi was soooo professional and easy to watch. Your cabin is great and looks well designed, made and equipped. I've been to Ngawi and loved this visit with you all. I have been living permanently in my Motorhome since 2016 and love the lifestyle...all the best ❤maybe we may run into each other [figuratively] in Nelson?...ka pai !!!
Hey thanks so much for the positive feedback that makes it all worth while! Glad you enjoyed it!
@@tinyhousehybrid5210 if you are visiting Nelson and need to know Designated Parking Places, maybe i can guide you? GERRY
Hey ya kane. How's things. Awesome place nagwai for sure. Love your tiny home.

Living the kiwi dream! <3
Oh wow! True kiwi life ! Love it ! 😊 Ly. 👋🏽
Enjoy your travels and keep the vlogs coming in. All the best for Nickys full recovery and remission.
Thank you! Will do!
Love your channel. Don't know so much about putting ice in whiskey though! Maybe a couple of drops of water. Keep up the awesome work.
Thanks for the tip!
Can I imagine doing anything like this. No I can not. I love watching videos like this. But, sadly I have no chance of living a life like this. For me ... For my family. We live day by day, never having enough money. We sell our possessions and end up with nothing. some times we have no food. At the moment, we are waiting for our power to be cut because we can't afford it, and sadly that's not all.. We are also waiting for the day that we loose our home due to not being able to pay our rates. We might end up on the street or if we are lucky in a van. I don't want this for my family. I want to do good,.but I can not see that I can provide, it makes me feel suscidal so often. At the moment, $40,000 nzd would save us. But I do not want a hand out., I want to earn it... If you can help. Please contact me at kenmilsom@gmail.com. I really need a hand,. Thank you in advance.
Great video and what a spot for a first trip in the cabin. Here's to a fabulous year on the road and many adventures. Cheers to @leopardsgowild for the link
Thank you! And yes a big thanks to the Leopards for the referral! They have been instrumental in inspiring us to hit the road!
I hope you have an amazing time in the south island 😁, I recommend taking time to relax and enjoy the place's you visit. Our 4 months wasn't long enough, hopefully we'll get back again. Life on the road has definitely helped my hubby's health stay stable. and we're definitely going to visit this beautiful spot One day too.
Thank you yes we are looking forward to taking our time and letting Nicky heal. Good to hear your hubby is feeling better!
fantastic watch mate, you;re a great film maker. if your going to keep making these on your adventures let me know I'll share you channel on our page so people who like following travelling families can follow you as well.
Thanks Mike much appreciated!
So cool guys! I can't wait to see where you go down South. Safe travels x
We are in Nelson lakes at the moment just woke to a dusting of snow on the mountain
Nice video! It's cool to see the places in NZ that I ahven't been yet. I was sad to see you took the starfish out of the water. I hope you put it back and it lived.
Yes don’t worry the kids put it back they are getting home schooled and are very interested in sea creatures these ones aren’t found in rock pools 😁
@@tinyhousehybrid5210 Good to know! We love your mom!
Awesome video! was so glad to see you guys on the road having fun - envious and cant wait for our build to be complete - safe travels! Darren and Susan
Cool I hope you get on the road soon and can start traveling!
This is a pretty cool litte cabin on wheels.
Yes we have had a lot of fun in that one!
i wonder what is the smallest size wood you could get away with building a shed
Yes depending on what you use to clad and line it with. Some Caravans have 25 x 25 framing
@@tinyhousehybrid5210 how would you even fix 25mmx25mm together. Glue ?
@@MrKlown83 yep glue and screw don’t forget if you glue the lining on this will also hold it together.
That is absolutely genius! I love this idea!
