One point I will give the Miyagi fangs is that there is a downside to having so much experience. And that is the frailer body that comes with age. Jason David Frank was 31 years old when Tommy became a teacher of paleontology at Reefside high. Also, in the Bat in the sun, scorpion VS white ranger, superpower beat down. Jason David Frank himself broke down the 7 different styles of martial arts that the white ranger knew.

To make it fair I would only count Tommy up until power ranger turbo since he's about the same age the cobra kai kids are in season 6 at that point. He did graduate around that time. Obviously a grown man(not counting elderly) who's a skilled martial artist is going to beat a teen martial artist most of the time. Still I say Tommy would win. Robby had trouble with Shawn but Tommy defeated Golddar once depowered. I just don't see Robby beating Golddar. Not sure how strong Golddar is but I know he's alot stronger thrn Shawn. I'm guessing Tommy must have been a baby's when he got adopted. Now how about the replacement mmpr vs cobra kai. Miguel vs Rocky, Adam vs Hawk, Aisha vs Tory and Katherine vs Sam.

Robby was corrupted by Daniel. Carmen made Johnny soft which made Miguel soft. Such a combination is how Miguel ended up in the hospital. Robby wasn't corrupted by either Kreese or Silver. Kenny was corrupted by Kreese even more so than Silver which is ironic as Kreese isn't even half as bad as Silver.

So Billy should be born in April of 1979 since in the beginning of Zeo it was said that Billy was supposed graduate the next year which would have been the same year as the other kids.

So Jason should be born in October of 1978 if I have that right. For the most part I thought this was a good analysis. However there are two points I respectfully disagree with. 13:52-14:00 That wasn't a plan. She just assumed the principal had left and acted without thinking. 14:09-14:14 I admit I haven't watched this episode in awhile, but as I recall Kim didn't figure out anything. Zordon told her what to do. If you want to see real intelligence, watch the Zyuranger episode this was adapted from. Mei shows far more smarts than Kimberly ever did. Again, I haven't watched Power Rangers for some time so I could be mistaken, but I seem to recall Kimberly relying almost exclusively on throwing kicks in her fights, only rarely using hand strikes or throws/grapples. This over-reliance could be a detriment against Sam who is more well-rounded in terms of the techniques she employs.

Your match-ups are definitely perfect comparisons. I can't wait for the Tommy/Robby comparison. Billy definitely gets the advantage here because he actually didn't have powers when he fought the cogs and he held his own using his skills and wits.

Without powers, Jason didn't have much advantage against the puddies. So taking the powers out of it, I think in a tournament Jason has a small advantage. In an actual fight, it's a little different. In a street fight or actual fight, Miguel would have a slight advantage.

Miguel, Robby, Tory, Hawk, and Kenny have Sam beat in training under SenSeis. Miguel, Robby, Tory, Hawk, and Kenny all have training experience under Kreese, Johnny, Daniel Chozen, and Barnes. Robby and Tory even have training experience under Silver. Tory now even has training experience under both Kim Sun Yung and Kim Da Eun themselves. Sam's training experience under MiYagi won't help against Tory at the sekai taikai specially when MiYagi didn't teach Daniel half as much MiYagi taught Julie.

Sam's a good fighter but a bad leader! Miguel and Robby had to take over as leaders when they joined the MiYagi Eagle Cobras! Hawk and Tory were good leaders in Kreese's faction of Cobra Kai. Kenny was also a good leader in Silver's faction of Cobra Kai.

Cobra Kai does both strength training and balance training. Silver even told Robby both are necessary.

The LaRussos are not, were never, and will never be true MiYagi-Do. They're undercover passive-aggressive Cobras who hide behind the MiYagi-Do patch. Silver even saw through the facade.

It's not the teachings of the way of the fist that was the problem. It was Johnny being new to being a SenSei and then still figuring out how to go about teaching the way of the fist the right way vs how Kreese taught that was the problem. Johnny even admitted he was still getting the hang of being a SenSei when he and Miguel spoke in his office after the tournament.

How far along is your comparison between Sam vs Kim?

Again, I know you won’t change the format, but experience is just a free point for Power Rangers, Cobra Kai in 5 seasons covered only 2 years, so it would be fair if you compared them to Power Rangers S2 versions only
