You may have to do what I did and replace the SD Card as I did in this video. Hope you get yours fixed!

@@yannickpierreux6661 Ok, try this, Power the device on and hold the power button in while pressing UP on the volume. That was one comment to try. If that doesn't work another comment said to charge it with the cable that came with the console and try booting it up while its charging. I tried everything that I read to try and get mine fixed to boot properly but nothing worked so that is why I ended up buying a new Micro SD Card from SanDisk and the Card Reader you see in this video to read the Micro SD Card. The guys video I used to help me through this process is here.. ruclips.net/video/yiOcVitDhoE/видео.html&ab_channel=SjslTech I was worried when doing this all but it worked out and mine is working now. Just follow this guys step by step instructions if you end up having to do it this way.

Yes, My R36S only came with the one 64 GB Card with both ArkOS and the games on the one card. Some, like yours came with two cards. The guy whose video I followed had another video to show you how to do things if you had the two card console.

@@ryhuyt When you put the new SD Card in the R36S does the new ArkOS load at all? You don't need the roms on the card yet because the ArkOS system should load even if you don't have any roms on the card. If not you will have to install ArkOS again from the beginning. I'm glad the game roms worked out for you on those other emulators.. Is your K36 handheld doing this same thing when it try's to boot up or what is happening with it?

@ ​​⁠The loading screen just comes on then just shuts off. No lines of data like yours. I would have it charging for hours and it would stay red. Even though I was able to transfer some games to my other handheld I don’t have all those emulators and will still attempt to still have my K36 fixed

@@Showbolt1​​⁠ I saw a comment on the other video that you might want to try if you haven’t already. He said to boot it up, hold the power button in and the volume up also. I don’t know if it will work but it’s worth a try.

From what I read it seems that they will work the same as the one I used here in the video. Let us know if you try it and it works..

You may have to do what I did to fix mine, Buy a new Micro SD Card and Card Reader, download the necessary files from your old SD Card and game Rom's and install to the new Micro SD Card. I fixed mine by getting a new micro sd card and downloading the new arkOS operating system and roms onto the new sd card. I have a video on my channel on how I fixed mine and at the top of the comments here there is a link to it. Yours may be a different problem though if it isn’t even turning on??

I haven’t beaten this game either, yet! Bought it when it first came out and don’t recall how far I got in the game back then..

Is the Pro an R36S Pro or some other number and does it look the same as this one? I’ll have to look into it, I didn’t know there was a Pro one out.. so many of these handhelds on the market.

Oh yeah! Super Nintendo was the thing at this time in the early 90's. Plus, to get a Star Wars game was awesome..

@@kirkanos3968 Thanks for your input on the matter here. I was reluctant to change anything when I got this on fear of screwing things up on it and this happened to force me to try something to fix it.. glad it worked out for me and gave me some confidence to maybe try things in the future. I’ll look into the RG40XX to see what it’s like, wouldn’t mind another handheld..

@@retroreplay83 I hear you, best part of how most work the os is right off sd card so no bricking or killing it just make new sd card. And with the way the os works can easily use or try other OS's made for it. They put out a new handheld every month lol, so many shapes,power, button layout,screen size etc.

@@Whosean Here is a link (ruclips.net/video/_bVuP3BDHHg/видео.html) to a great explanation to the menu features. Although this video is four years old the menu system is the same on my monitor. I guess they haven't changed the menu for awhile.. His menu is on the side where mine is in the middle so its just placement of where that pops up on the screen. I keep mine in HDR mode because I find it to be the best to my liking..

@@retroreplay83 Oh okay, if it isn’t a hassle, are you able to overclock your monitor through that menu?If so so to which values like 250hz,260hz,280hz

@@Whosean I checked it out under the windows settings and display/advanced properties and there is no where you can chose to go higher than the 240hz in the monitor settings. I looked online to see where to look and while I was there I checked to see if my drivers were updated and I have the latest drivers. Nothing in the monitors menu has anything to change/overclock the monitor. Not sure if there is anything you could download to overclock either but in my searching there may be something out there?

Are you using the cord that came with it? What is it showing you exactly?

I'm glad you found my video on the Acer Monitor.. Like you, I was looking for months for a nice monitor and looking everywhere for more info.. I read all the reviews on Amazon but You Tube didn't have much about this monitor.. I have only had it just over a week now but am very happy with it. Does take some fooling around with the adjustments and the Windows HDR Calibration app also helps out a lot if you end up getting this one.. Games look fantastic on it!

Thank you for the detailed comment and you tube link. I watched that video and will give it a try. I first have to get a micro SD Card reader and San Disk card so it will be in the not so distant future.. When I try it out I will let you know..

@@zanyt13 Card and Reader are ordered, sometime late next week I’m hoping to try it. I hope my card is readable though since it’s acting up the way it is or isn’t it the cards problem?

@@retroreplay83 Nice, can't wait to hear the result of you trying it! 🙂 I don't thing the card is an issue, even if it is a cheap China card, but you never know, but this exact problem have happen to so many people, so i think this is more likely a software issue/bug. Also, i tried to charge it wit a higher power charger and a random usb-c cable(not the one it came with), and i worked just fine.

Guess What??? I have a working R36S Console! Got the SD Card and Reader over the weekend and attacked this today.. It wasn't as hard as I thought to do but I backed up the Rom's onto my PC and that took hours. Upload the Rom's to the R36S was just over an hour so all in all it took around 6 hours in total to get this done.. I'll make a short video about and post it to channel.. Whew!!!

Appreciate your comment! I can't do anything with this handheld as of now though because it is not working. Had it sitting for a couple months over the summer and went to boot it up and it hangs on the startup screen and turns itself off.. Lot's of people are having similar problems. I have a video on my channel about the problem if you want to look it up. Good luck with your when it arrives and enjoy it.

This is a new problem to me, have not heard this one before. Once you hard reset let us know if it worked and all is well with this handheld.. I have tried everything on mine and nothing has worked for me to get past this screen I'm showing in the video..

@@benperez8424 This was a great game for sure! Had a lot of fun playing through it.. would love to see an updated version of a Dukes game but sadly I doubt it will ever happen.

Also, this is because I pressed something in the option's menu, any way to fix it? ( same as @lifeofsasha380 )

So not what mine is looking like?? Does that banner show up at all that says booting fail?

@@retroreplay83 It has the same boot up screen as yours but without the black lines with text, then it just turns black, This might be because I pressed the change screen setting in the options' menu, after I pressed that it said something about an ambernic screen, it rebooted and now the screen is black after the banner, though there is still sound and I can still play just without the display.

I probbably have the same issue as @lifeofsasha380 Or rocketdog5310

@@TheVineyardFarmhouse It took quite awhile to kill him.. I cut the video down a lot.. the bar above him was full and hardly moved, even with everyone shooting him.. love the live events though..

@@XxFishxHunterxX yeah if its black screen and white stripes u got to charge it with the right cable and if u see a light turning on that means its charged i did it with mine and mine worked again

@@retroreplay83 if it doesnt work try another cable and make sure its in DC en that the cable is good in everything
