Build 4104 of Portal is the only known build that has all the achievements (prior builds didn't have transmission received) and free out of bounds movement (later builds freeze you in place). Until the 18th of August, 2024, build 4104 was lost media. Working on a fullgame route, this is nice and consistent Details (mainly for future me): Start from newgame, use sensitivity 4690.909090 (could probably round to 4691) Walk forwards until you hear the portal open, could also use a cue in glados' dialogue. Walk back, snap down, shoot and crouch at the same time to fall past the orb's trajectory Do 1 snap left. The radio will audibly go from left...

New route new me This IL can go down to like 2-3 more seconds, ceiling is now way higher due to the start being uncapped (and really hard to do fast). Unfortunately, I'm not nearly skilled enough to pull off better than like a low 18. For now.

Under normal circumstances, the player would have a barrel for this section. The barrel is a lot more stable, and will jam the door consistently. Unfortunately, an earlier mistake had resulted in me losing the barrel, so I had to use the less consistent chair instead. My main concern was that it would get stuck inside the room. I was naive.

You're probably using an outdated version of SPT, presumably because you downloaded an outdated version of unpack. sourceunpack.gameabusefastcomplete.com has the up-to-date version.

@@DelayRGC That’s correct. The first teleport puts you in a wall with an indecisive push vector of 0, which obviously fails. This technically puts you out of bounds for a tick, but for reasons I’m unsure of your camera is offset back inbounds. FCPS then runs a second time with an indecisive push vector pointing away from the portal, which is what moves you into Mikael’s room.

While I'm fully aware I found this video in the first place via the Speedrun Guide's nosla section, this _does_ have me worry a little bit if you are technically oob for a brief moment...

@@Fyvaakor version 4104 was lost for a long time, its the optimal speedrunning version and also allows for this specific run it features the radios for the transmission received achievement but also still allows for free movement out of bounds, unlike the first known version (before 4104 was found) to have these radios

This is an IL which means it must be single segment, that’s what makes this so difficult. He still saves a lot because portal speedrunner brainrot

Also be careful when spamming save in the pipe with a prop, it's possible that you reload stuck, therefore I recommend not saving when inside the pipe.
