The rest of Canada do not welcome cultural diversity with open arms, just ask immigrants. They have pressure to learn English and never use their languages in public. Québec and First Nations just try to survive in that hostile environment. Speaking of diversity, Québec has half of the native Canadians that still speak their native languages. The rest of Canada still try to assimilate native populations to English. How welcoming is that? Equalisation is calculated per capita. Québec is the median province for equalisation payment per capita, but is the 2nd most populated. The Maritimes provinces receive more per capita than Québec.

As an Australian this is an okay list. Your rankings: 8. Northern Territory 7. Tasmania 6. South Australia 5: Western Australia 4. Victoria 3. New South Wales 2. ACT 1. Queensland My rankings: 8. ACT: Everything you can do here you can do in other states, and its lack of size and variation really doesn’t help. A good city but you can’t do very much here. 7. Tasmania: A decent island but Hobart is all Tasmania really has to offer in terms of jobs. Again, it’s a very small state, so it’s unfair compared to the rest. 6. Northern Territory: It’s decent but outside of Alice springs or Darwin there isn’t much to do. The rest of the state is literally desert aside from the north coast. Very hot and is inhospitable in certain areas. 5. Victoria: I don’t get why Victoria is ranked so high on so many lists. Melbourne is nice but outside of that it isn’t the best. It has a lot of nice towns and is better for a quieter lifestyle, yet also good in the cities. It’s low because the rest of the states offer more options and better lifestyles. 4. South Australia: It’s pretty good. Literally a quieter Victoria with more diverse landscaping and higher cost of living, but I liked it more. 3. Queensland: Getting into the really good states, Queensland is a great opportunity for young and old people. It has decent weather, great beaches, and the rest is explained in the video. I didn’t rank it higher because of the many deadly animals and cyclones. 2. Western Australia: Perth is a quiet major city and it has so many attractions on the coast. Not much outside of the coast, but is a great state overall. 1. New South Wales: Really underrated. Somewhat Cheap outside of Sydney, it has mountains, desert, forest, basically everything in the other states. Yes it is expensive near the coast but it is a very varied state with a lot of different options. My personal opinion, could’ve worded it better but I don’t have the time.

Quebec is a French nation so the rest of Canada having an issue with this is beyond ridiculous, disrespectful, and arrogant. Of course the Quebecois want to preserve their language and culture. This is needed through language laws and they should be even stricter than they are now. Quebec is surrounded by English so the laws are a necessity. The Quebecois have had to deal with this arrogance, ignorance and prejudice for centuries from the English. It has to stop.

It really irritates me as a British Columbian when people say things like "it rains a lot in BC." Rain falls on the coast. The province is largely dry in the rest. The hottest and driest region of the nation is where I live, in the Okanagan. It also struck me as odd that they decided to concentrate on a Lillooet carrot farm. It bother me when videos like this throw in random pictures depicting geographical locations. Niagara Falls is in Ontario.There is no place that you will find a lighthouse as shown in any of the Territory's, that photograph in from the Atlantic coast. It is a dead giveaway that the narrator of this video has never been to Saskatchewan by the way he pronounces it. Chances are he has never been to Canada. I find it a little strange that he put lots of attention to the Foundationview Academy, a small Christian based school in British Columbia. It is definitely a promotion rather than just a mention. It is a shame vlogers like this mislead viewers.
