How to set it up as a seller?

I was a graphic designer in the 90’s working at a design studio in Manhattan. I got to design the cut above and the big man on court inserts. Two of my proudest moments.

Chinese graded cards are better. The ones I get back from PSA always smell like filthy capitalism.

Is there a way to get a refund for CHP points on Card Hobby? I had to purchase some to be able to bid on a few items and I thought that they would refund me after paying for my winning auctions but it seems like they just get re-credited to my account. Can you spend them or get your money back after getting them?

I get the desire to send things to auction because it provides liquidity. Its why im trying to prioritize buying things that will easily sell.

what is interesting about this hobby is, that it is not only niche, but within the hobby there are more niches. no matter what, people are mostly supportive to each other. Do not take those hard core flippers on youtube as the standard. And even they need the community to sell their cards in. ..

Great insights. I agree the hobby is an amazing community in many ways. It’s Libertarian to me. Minimal oversight. Lots of community charity. Common goals. I think part is the psychology of supporting the fact you are spending money on a 1st world luxury and we each justify it for the others

Community is important, especially in the area of mental health. I’m very active in my church, my large immediate family and a few hobby friends I connect with once a month. And of course my online RUclips community. Great topic and insights 👍🏼

Okay Lee majors played The six million Dollar Man and he also played the Fall Guy that Lindsay Wagner card you pulled with him she was from The bionic woman Loretta swit played on the hit series MASH which ran for 10 years Jackie Gleason was on the TV show Honeymooners and he also played a major role in Smokey and the bandit I hope you didn't pay a lot for that box

Angela Cartwright was also in Lost in Space with Bill Mumy

Pat Priest was in the Munsters along with Butch Patrick

Bill Mumy was in Lost and Space TV series in the 60's

Lindsey Wagner was the Bionic Woman and co started on Bionic and and appeared together in each other's show

I can approximate how old you are by who you cannot tell who’s who on those cards!!!! Me I just turned 50 so a lot of those people that you don’t know I’m familiar with because I watch them on TV

I completely agree. The full-timers also have an agenda to stay full time. So their takes are shaped by that. That's what I appreciate the casual collector who makes content around collecting.
