How long have you worked on this project, if I may ask?
It took about 3 days of measuring and putting in the Logitech G27 setup, Monitor, Racing Seat, and Speaker setup.

I'm not sure actually. This is the the arcade version so might be different the the N64. I'll have to fire it up and have a look.

Love it! allmy.tips/NCandyMaker?17q I researched tons of MA Hines and was very leary about buying this due to some bad reviews. This works properly for our needs. Yes, the cotton candy is very small compared to the kind you get at a fair. However, when we are making it I like that it us a nice treat instead of a huge mound of junk food which takes forever to eat and has more potential for a mess. My 13 year old daughter read tge instructions and she supervises my younger son and his friends with it. I was worried about hot speaks of sticky junk flying around, and we have had no problems with that.
Does the game have force feedback? Saw the wheel resetting itself and wondered...

Question why don’t use the plastic it came with or it doesn’t affect the making of cotton candy ? Bcs Mine came with out the top 😖 and I just make a mess haha 😆

Neat- wouldn't it be weird though when you had a game that used a fully automatic gun? Might feel weird jut bein' a pistol- wish it ha some attachment for a two handed feel.
I have almost the same setup but haven't had much luck in calibrating the AimTraks. Have a few questions if you don't mind. 1) How far are you from the TV screen in the video? 2) Did you use the default AimTrak light bar or use the bigger one? 3) Is your light bar on top or bottom of the screen? 3) About what height is your screen of the ground? Thanks.
you stand about 3 feet away. so with arms extended the guns are probably 2 feet away. This was made using the original light bar but they offer a new bigger one now. the light bar is on top I actually drilled holes in the bezel of the TV for the IR LEDs to stick through so you can't see it. And the bottom of TV is about 3 feet of the ground.
myfast1989supra Thanks for the reply. My setup was almost identical to yours (pedestal arcade with 2 AimTrak modules in 2 PS1 Real Arcade Gun shells, and the big light bar). I had put my light bar in a WiiU wireless bar housing and had also put some IR pass through lenses in the end of my guns like the AimTrak guns. Anyways, decided to just take out the bar and the lenses and everything is working and tracking correctly now - go figure. Thanks for the help anyways.

is a raspberry or pc?
This is on a PC, although I have recently tried it on a Raspberry Pi 3 and it works. The Pi sees it as a mouse input that you can then use in your emulator for X and Y axis. I haven't found a way to calibrate it to the screen with the Pi but some M.A.M.E. games allow you to calibrate in game using the F keys.

I'm having a lot of trouble getting my Aimtrak to work on my 40" LCD screen, the pointer is very jumpy and seems to fall out of calibration all the time. Did you encounter any problems and if so how did you resolve?

I bought a G29 wheel for similar purpose, I was wondering - do you have Force Feedback working in Mame? and also did you have any issues with the pedals? It seems like if I let up off my gas pedal, the brakes are immediately triggered instead of like a roll. Is that normal?
I don't have force feedback from mame but you pedal issue sound like you need to choose separate pedals as opposed to combined in the Logitech software.

Okay, so I got MAME games, Supermodel (i.e. Jurassic Park, Ocean Hunter) and HOTD 2&3 PC working in light gun dual mode. All I have left is this pesky Sega Model 2. I read somewhere that I need an older version of Sega Model 2 (v 1.0) for TS2 to work. Is that true or can I just use the most current version? Also, I feel like i have everything set up the way i'm supposed to per the text instructions but for some reason i'm stuck on verifying the path. After I enter the supermodel exe path and click on verify path it says "Model 2 not found! Model 2 is NOT located in the path specified! Make sure the full path is included and try again". There talking about the exe. path right? I'm I missing something? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
how did you get 2player dual lightguns working in supermodel for the ocean hunter? I can't get it to work, both guns show up as player 1
I'm having issues getting two light guns to work in dual mode for PC games, MAME, Sega Model 2, etc. In the Aimtrak Utility they are both identified as two separate devices/IDs. I even downloaded a program called controllerremap which also shows both guns as two separate devices/IDs. One gun works great but when I try to plug in both it seems both guns will work and be recoginized as player one instead of separate players/IDs. Any thoughts or feedback would be great. I'm curious if you've had luck getting 2 to work in dual mode. I'm dying to play HOTD2 in co-op. Thanks!!
+Chucks Grace its definitely not the most glamorous software and takes some getting used to. I would plug one gun in and change its id then unplug it and plug in the second gun then change that id to a different one as well. Then with only one gun in open MAME and launch your rom, hit tab and go to player 1 input and map that gun. Then close MAME, plug in your second gun and map that in on player 2. Let me know if this works this is just off the top of my head when I was troubleshooting. Its very important that you only have one gun in at a time when changing ids or modifying them through the software.
+myfast1989supra ---- Tried that. Still isn't working. Im finding in MAME that both guns axis are recognized as "GUN 1" so they both move together. They should be GUN 1 and GUN 2 or have different ID's. I even installed a program called controllerremap and it shows both guns as separate IDs (1 & 2), so i'm pretty sure it's not something i'm doing or not doing in the Aimtrak utility program. One player works great on PC games, Sega Model 2, 3, Demul, MAME, etc. But when I plug in two, both guns are recogized as the same gun/player. Again, the utility and this controllerremap program shows them as two separate IDs/Devices. Even when I go to windows device manager it shows two separate Aimtrak Mice. What also is interesting is when I map the aimtrak gun side buttons for each gun, they appear as separate numbers (i.e. one gun side button will say joy 3 button 1; and the other gun's side button will map as joy 2 button 1. It's just the trigger and the X & Y axis that maps as the same gun for some reason. It's driving me crazy. My MAME ini settings are as follows: coin_lockout 1 ctrlr mouse 1 joystick 1 lightgun 1 multikeyboard 0 multimouse 1 steadykey 0 ui_active 0 offscreen_reload 1 joystick_map auto joystick_deadzone 0.3 joystick_saturation 0.85 natural 0 joystick_contradictory 0 coin_impulse 0 paddle_device keyboard adstick_device keyboard pedal_device keyboard dial_device keyboard trackball_device keyboard lightgun_device lightgun positional_device keyboard mouse_device mouse global_inputs 0 dual_lightgun 0 Thoughts?

+Chucks Grace seen this before with controllers. Seems the device ID given by the Chinese manufacturers tends to have either a trailing space, or a Chinese character. I think you need to go into the registry to fix this. My $0.02.

You can use regular sugar but it will come out white or brown depending on the sugar
