Powerslide Next 110 Unboxing first thoughts

My giving my lay persons thoughts about the Powerslide Next skates. I have no affiliation to Locoskates they just happen to be where I bought these, other shops I use include SlapTap and Proline Skates. Also a big shout to Rush Skate Park :D The framing is rubbish, my editing is even worse - deal with it :P

A skate around Gloucester city centre and the docks, with my daughter on Roller Blades. It's my first time shooting a video like this, hopefully there'll be many more to come :)

Thanks for info and video but i was willing to see how the fit , if are true to size, wide or a bit narrow etc. I would appreciate any info. Thanks
How have the held up so far? Good build quality?
I cant find this skates at my size US M 10-11 no where online around the world
Great progress. Videos like this are the perfect way to show new people to the sport that with some dedication and practice they will soon be skating with confidence and loving skating as much as you. 👍
Animo!! From Spain
Fantastic progress! As a very late starter (49) I'm finding it mentally very tough. Trying hard to stay positive. There's me skating, and then there's my head, and the two are in constant battle. Just started the Back to Blading challenges. All the best for more great progress mate 👊
@@37monkey Thank you. Appreciate you taking the time.
I just subbed! Great progress! Keep the videos coming!
Wow! Your progress has been incredible. Nice work.
Thanks for the video 🤘🏼😎
What size is the skate?
@@37monkey thanks. I'm looking to purchase a pair and ship to South Africa but I am worried they won't fit. I am looking at the next pro megacruiser 125. I am a UK 10 so maybe I should opt for a uk12 to be safe with the skates. Can always wear thicker socks
Damn, i didn't have cones in mine... guess that's gift from the Locoskates. I've bought mine in Skatepro and they didn't even give me a sticker. Nice analysis btw.
Nice flow and roll. You were skating down the Honeybourne Line by the way. I've hardly ever seen another skater in Cheltenham so that was good you passed some in the park. Cheers for the shout out.
Nice roll. Cheltenham looks like a great place to skate. Have you hooked up with Worcester Skaters at all? They're a great bunch, and not far from you. I'd love to join you for a session some time. I'm in Cardiff but I'm happy to drive up when I can. Will be mostly free from 19 August on, though I'm determined to do the Wednesday Night Skate in London before the summer's out!
SkateMoreInline Yep, I'm in the Facebook group. Great to know there are a few of us around. For the past year in Cardiff I thought I was the only one in existence! 🤣
I live there but i miss London
Very good - you're clearly doing great! I've been skating exactly a year, age 48, and loving it! I commute sometimes, skate into town (Cardiff), skate around local roads/paths/trails and have skated 20 miles+, but have never used a skate park. There's a really good indoor one a skateable two miles from me and it seems mad not to use it to improve my skills, especially when winter comes. Do you have any advice for a middle-age newbie? I skate Powerslide Trinity 100mm and Seba FR2s 80mm - would the Sebas be ok or would I need to get aggressive skates? No plans to grind rails or use side plates, just practise rolling ramps and boxes like you (but at clueless beginner level!). Cheers.
@@37monkey Thanks for the advice. I had a session in an indoor park here in Cardiff on Thursday. What a blast! Loved it. So I'll be getting myself some aggressive skates now!
Thanks for the advice. I had my first session at RampWorld (local skatepark) last week and loved it! So much so I'm getting some aggressive skates tomorrow - Aeons (everybody seems to recommend them). Did you hook up with Worcester Skaters? I skated with them once in the summer, a great bunch of likeminded folk! Are you coming to Cardiff for the OG Night (29th September)? There will be all ability levels there including me, the lowest! I've followed Backtoblading mostly for his distance/trail skating but I'll be checking out his old videos of park skating now for some useful tips. So much to learn.
Nice explore of Gloucester. I have the same experience as you - people here in Cardiff are always saying how much fun it looks, but in one year of skating I've yet to meet another skater outdoors, even in the current dry spell. Such a pity. Their loss!
Where I find this seals ??, andrespicap@gmail.com
What size are they? 12 or 13? I recently bought a 14mm kit and they're too big!
Where did you find the seals???
+Joss Benyon Thank you!!
It doesn't look like he's got the ferry lift up if the body is dragging the ground at least he could lift it off the ground
Tosser Driver!!
Don't know if these have axle lift on the 3rd axle. This would have more pressure on the 2nd axle where the drive is?
surely he hasnt put the ferry lift on? it should lift all 3 axels, yet the rear is still on the stops
