nice spot of land you got there, what crossbow do you have there and do you find it front heavy?
@@timbo749 yes its heavy. 6 lbs. Boss 405 Killer Instinct. Its new. Ive been using the Barnett Droptine. New broad heads grim reaper’s 3 blade.
@NEPAGUY Cool!, I have the KI Diesel X, with scope, sling and quiver it tops out at 10 lbs, it feels like it's all in the front, lol, I love it but at 58, i 'm not feeling carrying a Summit Viper 20lbs. on my back then 10 pounds up front for any lengthy distance. I guess they are all that heavy and I'm being a piss baby, lol.by the way did you get one on that outing?
@ no sir. I haven’t put much time in so far this second half. Im ready for Ice Fishing! lol
If he can make it a couple more years he should turn out nice.
@@freeman4589 our biggest ones have been harvested. Im hoping a giant is still walking….
That deer was big nice back strap 😊
@@dannypomeroy9255 thanks! Best part!
I checked my cameras. Deer were 100-150 yds from my tent in numbers… its never easy! 🦌
I absolutely love the woods when it's snowing like that. Unfortunately, my power went out with the storm on Friday morning, and didn't come back until Sunday morning. I was stuck babysitting a generator or else I would have gotten out. At least you were seeing things..my Archery season was terrible. I think with the warm weather and drought, the deer weren't moving like they usually do, at least not where I was hunting. Still have the gun season and late archery, so hopefully I'll make up for it. Thanks for sharing your hunt, enjoyed the view of the snowy woods..👍
@@nepahistoryandarchaeologys8623 Its been a weird season. I see all these awesome buck on camera but not in person. Im adjusting stands and hopefully a beauty walks in. Good luck to you. They say find the blue Jays find the deer. Same food source.

😮 There he ( isn't ) !!!😅😅😅 I was up in far N.W. Wisconsin in early May. We had a late season snow that dumped27 inches of snow. We lost power and there were trees popping left and right ! I new that sound before you told us !
@@John-pk3oh i had the leave for work. Im still upset i left. Storm wrapping up before dark deer were just starting to move but the threat of downfall was real.….late season i have a few ideas to score. Game on.

@@Westernmassoutdoorboys some healthy fox making an appearance too!
Get you a turkey hunting chair get you off the ground and you can use your knees to brace for the shot.
@@ThomasGannon-od4ns Im comfortable i just like that 360 view from a tree. Takes time to adjust to the blind. Im happy with it. Its in a nice spot.
something else to think about is if the deer is even a little gut shot it will head for water so down to the bottom of the gully even if it doesn't hold water it's the deers instinct just an idea 🤔
@@kennethharding9118 we searched high and low. Checked cameras, water sources, bedding…. Its tough not claiming it.

@@stephencutting2865 i usually see 1 or two a year. They seem playful but they can be vicious.
@@NEPAGUY Because they can grab a turkey out of it's roost when it's sleeping. The game commission are idiots for stocking predators. They stocked the coyotes in the 90's. One with a radio collar was shot by bear hunters in the early 90's.in elk county
