A slow weekend living in Tulum | reset, beach days, dancing, full moon ceremony, local taco spot.
Traveling to Tulum for winter was the best decision ever. It's my era of living alone and experiencing life as a nomad. I went to my favorite spots to rest and recharge alone, danced salsa and zuak, attended a full moon ceremony, had the best tacos in town, and reset my space and mind.

This winter I was back in Tulum to spend the cold days in the tropical climate. I started vlogging halfway through my stay to capture my lil life as I go through my healing journey in my favourite Mexican town. I went for daily sunrise dips, practiced yoga, spent time with friends, and just set on my terrace in the middle of the jungle to listen to my inner dialog and absorb the fresh salty air...

Never happened to me. Haven’t heard anything like that from my girlfriends in Tulum.
Por dios 😂😂😂. La sola cosa ke tengan pa dicir es de la musica. Im American, lived in Mexico a few different times, and while yes Mexicans love Cumbia, Bachata, y mas, many also love salsa. No vi ninguna cosa that said salsa was from Mexico. Awesome video, try to work less, and try to get new followers that arent so ridiculously petty and tan pendejos. Montreal, such a wonderful city. I have tons of Mexican friends working in construction field and not one listens to salsa. Salsa is more from Caribbean but glad our music reminds you of good times.

Would you say that lapoint is solo traveler friendly? Did you feel that everyone stayed together?
Definitely, yes! When I travelled there, most of the people I made friends with travelled solo. There are a lot of activities that require everyone’s participation so it definitely felt like we were all boiling together most of the time.

How much did the whole trip cost?
I think it was about 1200 euro for my private room and surf lessons per week. Not including everything else.

Sometimes we get anxious because of the stories we tell ourselves that have nothing to do with reality. I felt safe in Mexico City when I experienced the city properly.

Thank youu! It was filmed in late May. The beach and the trails near the camp weren't busy at all. During very early mornings, I could have the entire beach to myself sometimes.. unless there is a group doing an early surf session.
@@anastasia_levin Wow that's cool. I want to visit Ericeira so bad! Do you need a wetsuit year-round or does the water get warm? What do you think are some downsides to actually living there? Thanks again for replying and aloha.
@@nandonando4421 From what I heard from the surfer in Ericiera, the water does get warmer in the summer (the warmest month is August) but not too warm. The Atlantic Ocean is pretty cold all year round. Some people don't wear wetsuits in the summer but others do. Depends on how tolerant are you to cold. I think you should def visit first before moving. I really loved everything about this lil town but I don't think I could live there full time as It doesn't have the same convenience (everything closes early- the first thing I noticed) as a big city but that's its charm too. The work opportunities are slim in town unless you work remotely. I would feel a bit more socially connected if I knew Portuguese, not everyone speaks English but everyone is super friendly! Aloha *Feels like you might be from Hawaii trying to switch to the Atlantic Ocean hah
