I'm sure Japan x China is not popular (or even unacceptable) in Chinese Countryhumans. Generally, USSR x China (true love), RusChi (intimate partner) and AmeChi (enemy) are much more popular. This can be easily checked in CN platforms, such as Lofter or Bilibili. I'm Chinese too.
