An Institute of Excellence in Insolvency
Insolvency Law Academy is an independent think tank and research institution on insolvency. ILA seeks to contribute to robust policy making and enhancement of standards of the insolvency industry through cutting-edge research, innovation and development of best practices. Another key hallmark of ILA is to develop a community in pursuit of education, research and scholarship in the field of insolvency India. As a knowledge development institution, ILA seeks to inform and educate its participants regarding international best practice in insolvency law and policy through its programmes.
The ILA is a not for profit public charitable trust registered under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882.

Thank you sir, for bringing out Indian banking from the problem of NPAs, and keeping the banks alive..
Insolvency and bankruptcy law need some modification. Instead of 3 months it must extend to 9 to 12 months for declaring bankruptcy and auction orvother proceeding. This will reduce NPA or small Loanees.
A big thank you to all the members of the Team ILA and the interns who have been working very hard on this project. The hard work will continue to make the Resource Centre & Archive as the largest repository of insolvency content.
