Be forewarned... If you take that hike in early summer, after the first week or so of 80 degree days, you will be greeted by clouds of Stable Flies. These insects from Hell look just like your common house fly, but they bite your back and the backs of your legs... and bite, and bite, and bite. They'll even follow you out into the water. We ran into them and my Dad had to throw away his shirt after the hike because of the blood stains from these literal "suckers." If you go earlier in the year, or later in the Summer, you will be OK. It's a beautiful area. We just picked the worst time possible.

That is awesome! It is definitely one of our favorite parks. So beautiful! We took our son a couple of times while he was growing up. We hope he always looks back fondly on his visits there as well.

We don't know which was worse--the hard climb up or the steep climb down, but we think it was the way down. It was well worth it though to get those views. Thanks for watching, Renee! We appreciate you.

Thanks! It seems there is always something else to see and do at Yellowstone. We have been a few times before, but missed some of these on the earlier trips. The brink of the lower falls is so beautiful, just breathtaking. We loved the chuckwagon meal. It was a fun experience, good food, and a great way to finish the day.

What another wonderful job showcasing God’s beautiful outdoors. We love seeing Old Faithful and all the geyser’s. They always seem to be dancing. The shots for Grand Prismatic were awesome! Love the outtakes. Jimmy running and skipping like a kid😀

Yes! You do need to go back. We hadn't been in a long time, and we had forgotten how amazing Yellowstone is.
