Just saw B-Mac on CBS give his playoff prediction, and he thinks in our round we get Ohio State, and beat em again. then beat AZ in Semi-finals, and get ND, who beats Penn St. in their playoff game. So he thinks it's Oregon and ND in the Natty. I hope he's right. This season feels like this could be our time. We soon shall see.

Bullshit. Play calling has been mediocre at best, still playing overly conservative in games where there is no need to. I can count on one hand how many times they've attempted to throw the ball more than 30 yards, even against KENT STATE. The only reason we are still in the top 3 is because the defense keeps the games close enough for us to sneak by with 1 point wins, 7 point wins against unranked teams. We're not ready for Oregon, we saw what happened against ohio state. The offense didn't put up a single offensive touchdown the entire game. ( edit: in my eyes our season ended when our offense got embarrassed by ohio state, and our defense got exposed by Minnesota. )

I’m gone. Not watching college football no more. I had a great run. Almost 60 years. I will watch only the military games and the FCS games next year. The FBS is a joke. The Networks are in control. I watched more college football than any of these so called experts. The problem with College Football is Scheduling. You have 12 games. The first 2 play out of Conference games. And 1 of those should be a competitive conference top team. No Akron. Or Hawaii. Then the conferences all play 9 conference games. And the next to last game of the season go play a top team in anther conference at their field. So Alabama go play a Kansas St. In the cold in Kansas. Georgia go play a Colorado in Colorado in the cold. Same for Miami. Go play a Penn ST. In Penn St. And the next year you can rotate the home team. Until these teams play other conferences late in the season you will never get a true meaning of how good your conference is. And in College Football for all the years I have been watching, the home field is such a big advantage. This year the committee did it again. We all know the Alabama bias. They have a huge fan base. And the networks know it. And they have the NY Yankees hated syndrome that fans will watch to see them get beat. The networks know this and that is more money for them. Their is no legitimacy for teams like this years Arizona St, Iowa St., SMU and Indiana from these networks. They don’t see $ signs when they look at these teams. Like I stated many a time all these networks are owned by the same 3 financial institutions and they dictate what people will see. Yeah FOX is owned by the same Financial Institutions that own ESPN/ABC, NBC and CBS. We are just their puppets doing what they want us to watch.

It's not so much the receivers. It's the schemes to get them free. That Warren TD that was called back in the USC game due to the ref's mistake was well-schemed. Corner fades, not so much. If the receivers can't stretch the field or outmuscle or separate from defenders in normal routes, then plan for something different.
