Thanks for sharing this. I met Russ Heath a year before he passed. I loved his Sea Devils stuff most especially. His list of works at the end of the book is amazing.

Yea it was great. She would get boxes of creepy Mad Eerie all kinds of comics. Even some heavy metal if their wasn't t and a on the covers they were fine with it. Violence and gore was fine sex wasn't lol. That was from 1978 to about 1984 once I got into high school that stopped lol

He was a great teacher of inking he gave us a stack of Artwork for the 1964 New York Conicon. Still have Splash page of Vikings Prince from the Con. He found time to teach to lucky people.Even met the Surgery Kids in his office.

Prices, dates, come on. The comic channel that does that first will win. I could just sit there and show and list comics but it’s where I got them from and cost thats interesting. No info here….
Eh, I'm not big on talking about price. I look for deals an try to get them as cheap as I can. I don't have unlimited funds, hence the absence of major keys 😃

Great collection. Love the idea of collecting high grade books, but keeping the collection small. I’m all but done chasing books. I realized the same thing you did. I was always “buy buy buy!!!!” Everything I could. It git ti be too much. Now I just have a very small collection of very important books. Great video and nice looking books.

Many collectors reach that place, if not MOST. "Keep the beloved BLAZERS and trim the fat". Indeed, Alex....I'm in the process of trimming 1,500 books down to 250. Make no mistake....it IS hard & heartbreaking....trimming down a 50-year collection to the essentials is a process NOT for the faint of heart....but the end result will be worth it...!! 😄 PEACE

Yea probably the best book on Frazzeta ever. It is super huge though but the vids dont do it justice the quality needs to be seen first-hand.
I’m looking at this book and I have received an offer from the seller; what would you say is a good price or average price for this?
I think I paid 175 for mine. It was brand new and not the slipcase edition. Took me a very long time to see one pop up online. I think I waited a couple years. Then one day one just showed up so I snatched it. A week later I saw 2 more come on ebay lol. My absolute favorite artist edition. Beautiful book.

Thanks for the look! Were you disappointed at all that they didn't fill in all the pages of the stories (even if they would have had to use other sources, not the original art) so that you could just sit down and read each story?

Ok, hey thanks for your answer, really! I never understood who these books were intended for until you said that - it's for people that wanted a page of some original art but couldn't get! I understand now 😊
If I want to read the stories I refer to those big omnibus editions. I'm running out of room quickly though. These books take up a ton of space.

when I first got interested in E.C . comics around the mid 70's a lot of those mags could have been purchased for 20.00 or so... but I thought that was a lot of money for one comic... I bought a few and traded some of my other stuff..to get some. .though I never came close to getting the entire E.C. library.. I am glad I kept the ones I did..I do have the complete Russ Cochran Library however... I have many of the comics you were oohing and ahhing over..... AND..I have the complete run of MAD.. comics and magazines.. but I would have loved to have way more E.C.'s... back in the early 70's ... the first appearance of Spiderman in Amazing Fantasy 15.. in 9.5 condition.. could have been purchased mail order from Robert Bell out of Hauppage, New York.. for around 8.00 as well.. wish I would have thought to buy some of THOSE up..!
Yea man prices are crazy now on anything ec in high grade now. Don't think those books are ever gonna come down. Ya never know though. One can always hope 😁 thank you for watching!
