Not totally sure what itll play like, but looks like a fucked up horror game about zoo animals turning into monsters.

Can you imagine what it would take to create a 4090 level capable standalone headset. I'd think they might be able achieve this level of performance from cloud gaming more likely. What if the next Valve headset is cloud based?

I love when Brad is on. Always nice hearing about new Vr tech from him. You can tell he just genuinely loves the technology. And as I'm a big fan of the Valve Index I really look forward to any news about Deckard

The developers of the visor are misleading peaces of dreck. The glasses look is fake. The glasses look is really a prop that fits over the headset. When taken off it looks like a vr headset. Wearing like glasses like visor videos show is bull crap since its very uncomfortable that way on the bridge of the nose. Thats why it come with a comfort strap.i hope they fail. I know its bad for vr but they are so misleading they dont deserve success.

Great episode! I wishlist literally everything on PSVR2 that looks vaguely interesting to me. The only games I don’t follow/wishlist are the ones I know I wouldn’t even buy on sale. 😛

Game audio needs to louder or your mic lower.

You don't need to go into steam vr res settings. Lower the res in the uevr menu. It does it in real time. Runtime section then resolution scale. Use a button (prob A), not trigger, to change it.

I've seen the live language translation in Resonite. Not an overlay, but very cool to experience.

I don't think they can just make x86 VR games run on a standalone ARM device, there is a high performance price for emulation, and we're talking about something that will have to render for two eyes while keeping battery consumption in check. And the best qualcom chip we have right now is already used in quest 3 and it's still far from PCVR level performance. What they did with proton is very different because it's not emulation, the apps were written for x86 windows and steam deck runs on x86 too. Android app support is very much a possibility though, that would give them access potentially to all the meta quest games apart from the exclusives. If they can work miracle though, it would obviously benefit the users at the end of the day.

Great show lone wes holding it down. If this being the best vr show is debatable its definitely the most consistent. Also did u ever find out rather theres a work around to get luke ross mods to work on gamepass

Watching the recap and as soon as you mentioned the State of Play i looked it up and they just announced it lol. Sep24th 6pm ET/3PM PT "more than 20 upcoming PS5 and PSVR2 games" Sony says it will be more than 30min

Alex and I didn't leave bc of Wes. It was taking up too much time (tech issue BS, etc.), and the time zones were a problem for Alex. I also had a newborn. We didn't agree on politics, but I got overly heated about that after we left the show. "Don't talk about that" is good advice.

Metamorpisis is having an Inception level vibe for me atm. A fellow co-worker brought up an old story he had read about a group of individuals survivng various cataclysms and later being revealed to be bugs. But the hunt for us led to the Metamorphosis book that inspires this VR title. His conversation happened Monday night and now this definte must play for me at some point in the new future.

As a kayaker myself, when I kayak in real life, it's my time to be in the beauty of nature, to watch the wild life, to listen to the sounds of the water and the wind in trees. So basically I'm doing nothing, so what you call a tech demo is what I do when I kayak in real life. So I enjoy playing kayak mirage in the winter time when the real kayak season is over. It's a kind of meditation that I get out of it.

Well done guys I have about 30mins left and loving some of these games you are highlighting in yesterday’s show. I have already purchased Subside because I played the demo when it came out and craved more which is a good sign. My standouts today are One True Sound, Metamorphosis and PSVR2 version of ITR. Cannot wait for Batman AS, Alien: Incursion, Behemoth but my most anticipated is Aces of Thunder dogfighting and Tornado chasing in MFS 2024. VR is really starting to warm up now and has me excited for the future 😎

I don't like the sound of the new "My Mom". The sound of the previous one was soft and probably with a bit more bass. This is unacceptable 😄

Off sick from work today so just resting up in bed watching me some VS podcast in the UK. Hope Ruuts manages to find the time and space he needs to recharge his batteries and we see him back at some point on VS in the near future.

You can pick head aim or 3dof aim in any uevr game in input in the mod menu. Usually, the enture HUD will move with your head or hand movements.

Robocop has had a 6dof profile for a long time. I used it. I switched it to head oriented movement. It was on "game" by default and felt weird.

Hopefully, Ruuts didn't pull a Justin/Alex.

Samsung Gear vr was my 1st. It overheated and shut off every 20 minutes. But i loved it! My 1st vr ever was putting me in the ocean and watching the dolphins and whales. My lifelong dream was vr so i new it would get much better. Now its quest 3, psvr2 and uevr. I've had a long journey.

I guess Anthony will have to come out of retirement to be a guest host until Ruuts returns (jokes)

I never understood people who like using a mouse and keyboard. I hate using that way of playing even in non vr games. If that was the norm and there were no game pad controllers I'd give up gaming.

Man, I've bought a ton of unreal engine games since the UEVR mod came out. I'm playing black wukong now, and I'm having a blast. Mechwarrior 5 in my motion sim is just epic.
