Interesting. What's your level? All I can think is maybe it's the party's agility--I think AGI might determine turn order. I didn't put in any points manually but everyone and I think the MC too sometimes gets AGI when leveling. It looks like I was level 12 during this fight.

@@kyrqslive Forget it, almost to the limit of my patience I tried giving Strohl the Brawler archetype and spamming Hulkenberg's spell so that they only attacked her and it worked, for some reason before it didn't work and they kept attacking my entire group, but then they only to her in my last attempt haha, and the Brawler with his punches knocked everyone down, I guess my brain had shut down from taking a beating in the first dungeon of the game, but on my last attempt I had a chance, although that does not explain why they went from attacking each enemy twice to behaving normally xD

That's why this was so interesting to me--I'm never looking down, and I never use the controller on Switch or in Switch configuration, so it's not a matter of training. It happens because unconsciously (without looking at it) I know that there are labels, and so when I *think* I need to press A, I'll often press B instead. The unconscious knowledge of the label factors into the action. This kind of thing probably happens with any labeled thing.

Oh I should have put that in the description. It may be a spoiler, but since you asked: The block was from Cardinal Dragon's Raimant, which was a reward from one of the other tower dragons (Insolence I think--Devourer of Stars. Vid of that fight is on my channel too).

This is on hard, but I'm definitely over-leveled from grinding.

Tycoon is good stuff. I ended up using Gold Rush against the Elegy (vid of that is on my channel too). I can't remember if I had maxed Brigitta yet during this fight.

Yeah it requires very particular party formation/abilities or else you legit can’t beat him. Without masked dancer with faker mask/summoner I wouldn’t have beaten this boss. The extra turns and high damage fire attacks are the only thing that make this fight bearable.

My guess is we'll have to do it again since the save point is outside the door and there's a warning to make one then. I will either way because I actually ended up replaying the demo a few days after this stream without distributing stat points, and then stopped with a save on Day 1, so I can make different decisions in the full version. Everything else was a lot easier on my second run, even without stats, so I'm hoping this will be too.

My party set up on this fight on hard, was having strohl with warrior, MC(Will), and hulkenberg as healers. Keep having strohl use the multi slash hit skill on human enemy, then use synthesis to cast mahama on all skeletons to kill em quickly, assuming you dont miss one.

Not sure if this makes a difference but i should also add that I was going for magic build on "will" so I prolly did more damage and killed the skeletons quicker that way.

Only the PC version supports modding unfortunately as far as I know (apart from Create A Park)

yeah, only pc, but you can skate the xbox maps with mod characters too

I've already run through the demo twice. Still couldn't beat this guy though, lol-though my Healer Archetype is nearly rank ten. Congrats on the win!
