There is an error in translation. In Old Ottoman Turkish, Nemçe or Nemche are Australians. Germans are not meant. Nemche refers to the Catholic Austrians, the Austrian Empire. The Ottomans never fought against the Northern Protestant Germans.

This is not a janissary song this is just a folk song lol. Janissaries didnt have special band, mehteran was a seperate branch of the army. When janissary order was purged in 1829, also mehteran was dissolved and all notations of their marches were lost in time except 2 . We have zero documents or evidences about janissaries' songs if we can assume that they even had their own. By the way, using string instruments is haram.
