It's always tough to see many of the bar areas by the harsh light of day but that holds for nightlife zones everywhere. Pattaya is definitely at its best between 9pm and 2am but I admit that boredom drove me to day drinking on my last 18-month stay.

I work with fighters some of best on planet , Eddie jones the great rugby couch taught me , break 12 months into quarters, so plan when in Thailand first three months and live it , don’t think past it , put three goals for the quarter and attack those dreams ,then last weekend of quarter reflect and plan next three months , I worry a lot so Eddie taught me to not fear the future live the now …

The good part is when u get green light , you have been born again , I was golf course construction and dealing with boards for 20 years I worked out life is short as these older guys retired on boards playing golf all had problems…. Cancer , strokes just part of life , but the ones who made it were different, a lot said today my birthday….. I’m 3 I would say 3 or 83 they laugh and say I should have or could have been gone back at the time things could have gone either way …. Get back start again but this time you might find Pattaya will never be better Sometimes bad opens up a path of a complete happiness

hi PJ ........Best wishes from London. I have just 3 weeks ago been diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer and just finished my first session of Chemo. 7 more to go and then start the Radiotherapy........every day for 6 weeks really not looking forward to that! Keep fighting PJ and maybe we will have a beer on Jomtien Beach front in 2026. David

Hi Joe, same here with the chemo starting in 2 weeks. Had 12 days in a row of radiation bombardment, now difficult to swallow but they say that will pass. Headaches were the worst, almost continuous but they said nothing to do with radiation.....yeah, right. They've gone now thank goodness. Waiting to see doctors here and see what side effect of immunotherapy so I can start planning our 12 monthly run back to Thailand. Imagine any cancer based insurance will be expensive though but I don't think can do without it. Cheers and hoping you continue to be on the mend,............. Jorgo
