The Brutal Truth About Jio Institute: Think Twice Before Joining CONS: 1. Terrible Placements: Current placements are a mess. 1st year batch got jobs only at the end of the course when Jio itself stepped in to hire half the students at good packages. For us second year students? Average jobs and disappointment. 3rd students are doing unpaid internships and they are celebrating that like really a premier b-school move. 2. Unhelpful Management: The management is no help at all. Instead of supporting students, they blame them for not clearing interviews. No guidance, no accountability. 3. Misleading Course: The “Marketing” course is mostly sales roles with low salaries. The fees keep increasing, but the average package keeps dropping. PROS: • Great Faculty: The professors are excellent, but the academic team isn’t helpful, ruining the learning experience. • Good Infrastructure: The campus is nice, but hostel rules are overly strict-completely unnecessary for a PG course. A Warning for Future Students: Don’t waste your time and money here. There are better Tier 2 colleges in India with better placements and student support. Think carefully before you join and risk your career. Save your time, money, and dignity. ✋

NOT DISRESPECTING ANY EMPLOYEE BUT MANAGEMNET IS REALLY NOT FIT TO RUN A PREMIER B SCHOOL DO NOT JOIN IF YOU WANT TO SAVE YOUR FUTURE THEY MAKE FALSE PROMISE AT THE TIME OF ADMISSIONS AND DURING PLACEMENTS THEY WILL SAY YOU ARE A BAD STUDENT SO NOT ELIGIBLE FOR PLACEMENTS MARKETING 3RD BATCH UPDATES - 90% OF THE INTERNSHIPS ARE UNPAID PROGRAM IS NOT STRUCTURED PROPERLY THEY HAVE CHANGED THE NAME OF THE PROGRAM AFTER THE START OF THE ACADEMIC SESSION STUDENTS ARE FRUSTED WITH THE MANAGEMENT AND THERE IS NO ONE TO LISTEN TO THEM. THIS IS THE ON GROUD REALITY YOU ASK ANY STUDENT FROM 2ND AND 3RD BATCH LACK OF TRANSPARENCY: JIO INSTITUTE IS ONLY SHOWING PLACEMENT DATA FOR THE 2023 BATCH, WITH NO MENTION OF THE 2024 BATCH. THIS RAISES SERIOUS CONCERNS, ESPECIALLY SINCE A SIGNIFICANT PORTION OF THE 2024 BATCH IS STILL AWAITING PLACEMENT. PREMATURE START OF 2025 BATCH: THE INSTITUTE HAS ADVANCED THE START DATE FOR THE 2025 BATCH, POSSIBLY TO PREVENT THEM FROM SEEING THE POOR PLACEMENT OUTCOMES OF THE 2024 BATCH. THIS FEELS LIKE A DELIBERATE ATTEMPT TO HIDE THE REALITY FROM INCOMING STUDENTS. LOW PLACEMENT OFFERS: MANY STUDENTS FROM THE 2024 BATCH ARE RECEIVING OFFERS FAR BELOW EXPECTATIONS, WITH MOST OFFERS AROUND ₹6.5 LAKHS AND SOME AS LOW AS ₹4.8 LAKHS. THIS IS HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING GIVEN THE PROMISES MADE BY THE INSTITUTE. LACK OF SUPPORT: THE ADMINISTRATION’S RESPONSE HAS BEEN DISMISSIVE, ADVISING STUDENTS TO ACCEPT WHATEVER PACKAGES ARE OFFERED AND START THEIR CAREERS, WHICH FEELS UNSUPPORTIVE AND UNETHICAL. GROWING DISCONTENT: THERE IS A GROWING CONCERN AMONG THE 2025 BATCH ABOUT OUR FUTURE PLACEMENTS, AND MANY OF US FEEL MISLED AND CHEATED BY THE INSTITUTE’S ACTIONS AS THEY ARE UPDATING POLICY AFTER 2ND SEMESTER REGARDS, WELL WISHER

Open Letter to Prospective Students and Stakeholders Subject: Concerns About Jio Institute - A Reality Check Dear Aspirants, This is a genuine appeal to evaluate Jio Institute carefully before making your decision. Recent experiences highlight critical issues affecting current students. Key Concerns: Lack of Transparency: Placement data for the 2024 batch remains undisclosed, raising doubts about outcomes. Policies like CGPA cutoffs were introduced mid-program without prior notice. Disappointing Placements: Many offers are significantly below expectations (as low as ₹4.8 LPA). Over 90% of internships for marketing students are unpaid. Weak Administrative Support: Students are urged to accept subpar offers without addressing legitimate concerns. Program structure lacks coordination and clarity, leading to widespread dissatisfaction. Advice for Aspirants: Engage directly with current students to understand the ground reality. Ask tough questions about placements, internships, and program policies before committing. To the Management: Students deserve transparency, fairness, and support to achieve the outcomes promised. Address these gaps urgently. This is not criticism but a call for accountability. Students’ futures are at stake. Sincerely, A Concerned Well-Wisher

Subject: The Reality Behind Jio Institute - A Well-Wisher’s Concern Dear Future Aspirants and Stakeholders, This message serves as a candid and urgent appeal to all those considering joining Jio Institute. It reflects the on-ground reality as experienced by students across recent batches. Unfulfilled Promises and Lack of Transparency At the time of admission, the institute makes lofty promises regarding academics and placements. However, the truth unfolds differently: Placement Policies Lack Transparency: Placement data for the 2024 batch is conspicuously absent, with the institute only showcasing data from the 2023 batch. This raises serious doubts, especially as many 2024 batch students are still unplaced. False Assurances: Changes to the program name, structure, and policies-such as introducing CGPA cutoffs after semesters are completed-reflect a lack of accountability and planning. Disappointing Placement Outcomes Placements have been a significant letdown, with many students reporting: Low packages as compared to initial expectations, with offers as low as ₹4.8 LPA and most around ₹6.5 LPA. Unpaid Internships: Over 90% of internships for the marketing batch are unpaid, contrary to the high expectations set during enrollment. Lack of Support and Professionalism The administration’s dismissive response to student concerns exacerbates the problem. Students are advised to “accept whatever offers are given,” which demonstrates a lack of empathy and undermines their career aspirations. Frustration Among Students The dissatisfaction runs deep among students, particularly in the 2nd and 3rd marketing batches, where issues include: Poorly structured programs that lack proper coordination. Placement delays, with management focusing on finding loopholes to exclude students from final placements rather than helping them succeed. A Word on Management While the faculty and employees are not directly at fault, the management’s inability to run a premier institution effectively is apparent. There is a pressing need for better leadership, accountability, and student-centric decision-making. Key Takeaways To prospective students: think carefully before committing to this institute. Speak directly to current students to understand the challenges they face. Ask hard questions about placements, internships, and policies before making a decision. To the administration: transparency, integrity, and student success should be at the heart of any educational institution. We hope you take this feedback constructively to bring about meaningful changes. This is not just feedback but a plea for action. Students deserve better. Sincerely, A Concerned Well-Wisher
