Dr. Suhail Qureshi is a reputed & well known Medical Oncologist with overall experience of more than 14 years in the field of Oncology. Currently he is practicing as an ADDITIONAL DIRECTOR & UNIT HEAD of Medical Oncology at Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi.
Dr Suhail Qureshi did his MBBS from Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College, Pune and then did DNB in Medicine from the prestigious Safdarjung hospital & associated Vardhman Mahavir Medical College, New Delhi.
It was here that he got interested in Oncology and worked as Senior Resident in the department of Medical Oncology & Hematology at Safdarjung hospital. His passion to learn and excel in this field, led him to pursue Fellowship in Medical Oncology & Hematology from Medanta, Gurugram.

Survival of an individual patient is difficult to predict. What we can estimate are averages. On an average, hormonal therapy works for anywhere between 3-5 years, after which if the disease progresses, then other treatments options are available for such patients. The effort is to keep increasing the survival as much as we can, but to estimate the survival of an individual patient is very difficult

Sir my wife has stage 4 breast cancer metastasis to liver in pet scan in Feb 24 Liver biopsy report is ER +(7/8) PR. NEGATIVE HER 2 NEGATIVE KI 67. NON CONTRIBUTORY Patient Age.. 50 Asymmetric Treatment Oophorectomy Palbociclib Fulvestrant Pls suggest
The treatment is palliative since it is a stage 4 cancer. She has been advised hormonal therapy since it is ER positive, which is correct. But further advice depends upon seeing the PET scan images and the patient as well.
