Yes i did hear one instance where youtuber car confections reported their transmission failure at around 30 miles. I really hope it's a lemon and one off. Could you tell me more about any other reports that you have heard of?

@@dineshthangavel hearing of these issues reading comments on different channels reviewing the vehicle. I am waiting on a Calligraphy model from my dealership but these reports have me concerned the first year may have recalls and may need to wait until this model is established. I have a 2022 Kia Telluride SX that has been incredibly reliable. I would hate to make the trade for an unproven model even how amazing it seems.

@@dineshthangavel I really like the interior and can care less of what people think about the outside but now knowing this thing could come with issues I rather wait.

The market adjustments should disappear as the availability of the Santa Fe increases. Personally I would not pay the market adjustment for any vehicle.

The vehicle is built by Magna(who builds bmw,jags) in Austria. Warranty is 6yrs/60k miles for the car. 10yrs/100k miles for the powertrain. Price of this trim which is called 'Extreme' starts at $70k but there are cheaper trims coming soon. I own a Hyundai Ioniq 5 and I seriously have no major issues with it. I like my ioniq 5 better than the Ocean. Maybe I'll give fisker a chance once they are a more mature company in a few years from now.

@@dineshthangavel yes, I agree. Warranty sounds good. Can’t comment on price without seeing and driving in person. The $70K price tag is not for the average person but let the market decide that. You usually get what you pay for so if the Fisher Ocean offers a less expensive version that’s a good marketing strategy. I like the price point of my Hyundai Sant Fe Sport Ultimate, has all the bells and whistles. However, the ride is so so. The Sport great around town, has great turning radius, great stereo, love heated seats and steering wheel, leather, full sliding sun roof. The utility of this vehicle is very flexible. The vehicle is a Turbo, has plenty of power for passing and getting out of the way in an emergency. Hyundai has been good to work with. I think it comes to the particular dealer. They don’t have a great dealership network in my area . One major dislike, great on smooth road but on bumpy roads, you feel every bump. Hyundai has improved their suspension with newer models. Mine is a 2018, leased it for three years, bought it around pandemic for $15K with 35k miles on it. The price was negotiated three years prior. It was a good deal, clean, well maintained. I needed a car bad and vehicle inventory was extremely low with waits of at least six months for a new vehicle. I would have preferred a new one. However, the long wait, and $40K price tag convinced me to just buy my present vehicle for the buyout of $15K excluding taxes and extended warranty I purchased. So far with 52K miles, no problems. The car was recalled two times, Hyundai installed a sensor and repainted the front hood at no charge. This particular model the paint was pealing on hoods and roof. The sensor had to do with a mechanical part failure that occurred with this model. So far with mine, no mechanical problems. I’m religious in maintaining my vehicles.

@Chas1160 yes the newer models have a good and really comfortable ride. I see a lot of difference between my 2019 and this 2023 ioniq 5.

These seats are much better than my Ioniq 5 seats but not as good as audi, bmw.

From the exterior it definitely justifies the $70,000 price tag. Looks solid and well built. However interior, especially the dash area is bit if a letdown. They could have used different materials/textures to make it look premium. Interior is more like a $50k car.
