You know... in retrospect, it would make more sense for wisdom to be the puzzle door & courage to be the one where you have to make several blind jumps.
Pssh, that's too logical for a Tomba! game. :P
Was playing recently and couldn't manage to do these quests. Any chance that you could provide some sort of explanation on how you got it working re reading the memory card data? I am playing on retroarch for reference
I'm using DuckStation, so I'm not sure how much this will help, but: Each game has its own "memory card" that it saves to, and DuckStation allows you to copy data between these individual memory cards if you want, for things like old save bonuses and multi-disc games. This is what I ended up doing - I copied my Tomba! data from its individual "card" to Tomba! 2's "card". There is also a setting you can turn on so that everything goes to the same "memory card" by default, too. I hope you can get the bonus events working!
The gold medal (& follow-on events) was the only thing I wasn't able to do in Tomba. I fought with that... so much. Even more than the concrete delivery in 2.
Honestly, WHY is the motocross course like this when most of the rest of the game is so chill? The discrepancy is baffling.
I've never heard of this guy, seen any of his videos, nor watched anything banjo-kazooie related in years. And yet somehow this ended up in my recommendations.

Didn't get to watch it all, but you've convinced me to buy Save The Light and once I beat that, I'll be getting Unleash The Light, It is so legendary, the art style, the combat and the surroundings, Thank you for being awesome, I don't know how I did not know this DID NOT exist lol

Play unleash the light too. it has gotten recent updates and you can basically play as ANYONE (Steven,Garnet.Pearl, Amethyst, Lapis, Peridot, Bismuth, Connie & Lion) and all the "change your mind" fusions. Plus after doing the game, and Hessonite's ship they've added a roguelike mode, so the game is endless
I've heard good things about Unleash the Light! I don't have it yet, but I'll likely grab it in the future!
