I'm back again. June 2024. Never get tired of Al Saunder's Garage. There was a similar garage experience in Bellingen NSW - Carl Foster. Established in the 1960s / early 1970s. He did the NRMA thing, day and night, rain, hail, or shine. That's what so clever and appealing about Enda Kenny's lyrics. They have a specific situation/story, but a universal value/truth that sits behind them. That makes for the connection between song and audience. And keeps the audience enthralled, captivated. That's the vibe in the live performances, in my experience. A rare commodity.

Such a great singer and composer! I sing my Dutch translations of "China Rose" and "All the answers". See Henk van Kuijk, youtube. I am sometimes on Perth radio Dutch community. "All the answers" should be worldwide known! Sing it on, I do. It would have been one for the Seekers, three voices.

Thank you for mentioning the names of Fred's fellow performers, I was trying to recall them. Holly and Carl are both wonderful musicians and lovely people, as is Fred.

I last saw Keiran shortly after he returned from this tour. He was in good form. It's so sad that his mental health went downhill afterwards. He had an amazing stage presence. Lovely man.

So nice to enjoy my friend K in full flight in this concert in Melbourne ,many thanks to Mark for the great work and for also sharing this lovely memory. He really was a great songwriter and if a wee bit grumpy at times his heart was open and forever honest. I'll miss him being around.
