Super Mario Brothers on Guitar and Banjo
Просмотров 25 тыс.13 лет назад
The Pats playing Nintendo's Super Mario Brothers theme song on the guitar and banjo. When Patrick was only four we actually played the game together, not much has changed in 20 years...I hope you get a kick out of it, and please share it with others if you like it. Thanks for listening...

Outrageously brilliant🔥. Bummed it’s taken me so long to hear this
Nice...thanks for sharing
Damn boys y’all picked the strings off it! I bet even old Larry Cordle smiled when he heard that!
Awesome. I was planning on learning this on banjo. Sounds great!
Sounds like an old Miner song!
I plan on replacing the original version that we play at New Orleans' Scout Island Scream Park with this one. I was actually hoping I'd find a darker version and BINGO! Thanks!
I love things converted to minor keys. This is so good!
Man! Great job. Tricky, FAST song!
Nice job. Been working on this of late Your right hand really great. Wish I coukd slow it down and see what chords you playing while dragging the pick up the strings..... So, which chords!
awesome job on this one guys!!!!
I love it!
does the guy on lef t have only 1 finger BTW great job
For the people who never heard a minor version before: just watch the movie! It's there, almost at the end. (Deliverance, of course).
Scratch that. I figured it out. Verse: G, Dsus4, A, Asus4, A then, Bm, A, D2, G x2. Chorus: D, D sus4, D, A, A sus4, A, Bm, G, D, Dsus4, Bm, A, D, D sus4, D, A, Asus4, A, Bm, G, D, A, G. I believe it's an U embellished start. Riffs, just sound out in the box 5&7th fret on two high strings, ending with vibrato on 4th fret, second string. Thank you for such a wonderful song. My love and energy to anyone touched by the grace and loss of the wee Homesick Angel that the song references. May she RIP, xo
How I love this song. Can't find tab or chords for it anywhere. I can see a Bm, A and that's all I can make out without breaking it down bit by bit by ear. Can you help me out, please? Beautiful job, you two!
Nice!
Hi Banjode1, Thanks for your email. So i only have to tune down the 2nd string to Bflat and leave all the rest in their original G tuning? If you send me your email address i will send the Sequel to you. My email is banjobaron@gmail.com Blessings Sadie
Absolutely amazing! I have been looking for a version like this. A few years ago i found "Duelling Banjo's (The Sequel) where they are playing it in a funky minor key i believe but could never find any tab. Do you have a tab for your arrangement. I can email you the Sequel if you would like to have it. I also love and your channel and you have a new sunscriber. Thanks for Duelling Banjos..wondeful way you did it. Your playing is so astounding. God Bless. Sadie
Hi Sadie, I rarely get on you tube these days. I do appreciate you listening though. As for a tab, I do not have one. Basically, drop your second string to a B flat and sound it out. It is almost identical to the original version, only play your second string on the second fret. Also, when playing in Gm you will be playing Gm, Cm and D Maj.as for the sequel sure, email it to me, I would appreciate it.
love it
My Brother and his wife (and us all) are struggling to understand the death of their newborn baby. And, the end gave me a much needed chuckle. Thanks guys. a beautiful song

I love this song so much. I found it when my 33 yr old daughter was battling cancer. She had medical issues her entire life. It fit her story so much. We played it at her funeral & it touches my heart every time I hear it. It hurts, yet I love it. I feel like it is HER song. You guys did a beautfil job. Thanks for sharing with us.
