Ingenius.
Hello Ken, love your work, Hats off to you. Was wondering are you still assembling the String Spacing Gauges? I could not find them any longer on ebay. Hope to hear from you, I may email you with some further enquiries on those. Thanks
Its finnaly finished wow
Sounds amazing !!!! Well done !!! I like it !!!!
Cute little tune. Keep up the practicing sounds awesome!!
Nice, keep playing
I love this❤
this is so good, I enjoyed watching this, well done
Nice
I thoroughly enjoyed that 👍
That was... AWESOME
sounds great keep it up
What, you have to physically insert each piece by hand? Looks like far too much physical work for my liking.
Speaking of soprano fret boards, what fret wire do you use?
And a vertical belt sander can't do this, cuz why¿?
Cos I ain't got one. :)
Very nice. Have you got a parts list? The motor and speed controller look useful.
one of my favourite mechanical mechanisms! super fun to look at! sounds like it needs some grease though haha
why do I have weard urge to put my PP in there...
Ukulele master craftsman .
Classic guitar neck sannding machine 😂. Genius
What are you sanding?
Looks like some kind of a guitar thing
@@Tvngsten it's so short tho, Mandolin maybe?
what does it do
Thanks! Do you have a website or something one can use to order an Ukulele?😎
Your body design looks a lot like my 1920-1940ish Martin. Thanks for this, I have a Uke I built years ago that I have to put a bridge on. Not so scary any more.
Hello good morning Mr and Mrs Timms. My name is Mario, I live in the Netherlands. I bought a Ken Timms soprano ukulele from someone in Germany. Very happy with it, super nice sound. It had Anuenue blackline strings on it. And through a lot of research I found out that Fremont medium sound the best on the Ukulele. Surprisingly beautiful sound, only I noticed that the bridge is tilted. From the 12th fret to the saddle, A string 175.5 mm. And from the 12th fret to the saddle G string 176.5 mm , almost 177 mm. I wonder if this is supposed to be. If not, can this be fixed???
Very good demonstration. Do you leave the space for the bridge on the top a rough finish before you glue it down? It appears to look that way.
I've been wanting to see how you build these ukuleles. I've heard they are some of the best but haven't seen one in person. Thanks for sharing.
Hello Mr Timms. I'm interested in the expandable string and nut spacing gauge markers you used to make and sell. Any chance you'll be producing any more for sale? If not would you happen to sell the parts or plans for one? Thank you.
Hi Ken, please let me know if you make another soprano in vintage Cuban mahogany. Thanks.
Brilliant. Sounds like a vintage Martin. I want one in Cuban hog!
I’m curious as to whether you are still making these Ken?
thats great ken, do you have a drawing or dims?.
Great setup Ken. The one thing I really missed when I retired was a milling machine. Thanks for making this video Ken, I will make a fixture like this, but with a router. Regards Ed
Good to see you Ken.... you are on the 'dark side' there.
Cool!
How stable is that, do you think the wood will want to return to the twisted state after a couple of year?
Or would a strait piece of wood go twisted after a few years ..Maybe time will tell :)
Hi, do you still sell ukuleles? I can't seem to find your site since I recently saw gotaukulele's review of your soprano.
You missed some! ;)
I got it after I’d switched off the camera:)
Nicely done, Ken.
Very nice. Sweet sounding. You did a nice job building it. Thanks for sharing
Lovely
I'm glad I know the genius that us Ken Timms.
Wow! I love this idea.
Weird... man, that little light! Couldn’t it be a small drone whose owner might be thieves? Be careful
Turns out to be a night flying Dragonfly
