“2.5 billion tonnes of food each year globally never gets consumed. When food is lost or wasted, the resources used to produce this food also get wasted. There is a clear triple win if FL&FW is managed - more people can be fed, farmers and businesses can make more savings and the pressure on natural resources can be reduced.”
