@@baguette1363 but jojo is an anime, and this is also an anime. That's literally the only reasoning i can come up with for youtube recommending me this.
She revolutionised the woman warrior in shonen. Yes she's terrifying for Natsu but she is not masculinised for her strenght in fact she is the most feminine and attractive women in the series and her strenght in battle makes her beautiful. One of the best example is Pandemonium.
Truly other mangaka could learn a thing or two about writing females characters
@@koumoh9358 Indeed, i mean no one can deny that the fan service is on an all time high in FT and the amount of boobs in D Size is mind boogeling but he mixes it up with good character writing, some very well placed development and some really kick ass fight scenes. From Erza over Wendy to Levy FT really hasa amazingly writen Female Cast. Its on one level with FMA:Brotherhood, Jojos and Highschool DxD in terms great female characters.
To be fair, there are quite many female warriors debut even before Fairy Tail and Erza, and they definitively have trememdous impact on manga female character design. Some examples are Clare from Claymore, Saber from Fate/Stay Night, or the oldest Sailor Moon, who boast both beauty and strength. But Fairy Tail really took the best out of these characters to forge the unique Erza. Erza really stands out with her both goofy and serious personality and her inconic scarlet hair.

Oh it did destroy the univers but it also rebuild it throught the energy of tits and fanservice. Destruction and Creation, Cool Battles and Fanservice - Erza holds both sides in balance.
