Please try troubleshooting your DHCP server it looks it's not assigning IP addresses. You can do that by capturing packets on the interface linking to the AP and see the statistics.

Remember here traffic flows from intranet to the data center over WAN(Internet). WAN is the untrust zone due to it's low security level. What's important is understanding the direction of traffic. The client need access to the server.
