We are hopefully coming to the end of lockdown and I figured that now would be the best time to learn something new. After many many years of hooping I just wanted to throw myself out of my comfort zone and into something new...and I'm glad that I did.

Thanks for the video , and hooping tips , especially the 1&2 count .. I can't wait try it out , once my hoop arrives.
I love this! Thank you
You're so welcome x
Thanks for the step by step explanation!
Very clear explanation, thanks!
Your channel is awful.
More trash content from ol' Penelope? Shame.
Thanks for the tips!!
This is so helpful! I’ve been trying to find a good size hoop to do off body leg work tricks, so finding one the width of my arm will probably be my best bet
You definitely need lightweight, large hoops for any off body/ circus style tricks
I am five feet three what size hoop should I use
Strongly suggest you measure from the floor to your hips. That will give the best diameter for a beginner hoop.
This is so exciting! Day 2 looked great! That exercise will develop your muscles so quickly! Have you tried doing the in-out backwards? The plow stop and the T stop are important lessons, as is learning (and practicing) falling correctly. In derby, we discovered that only skating and practicing in one direction (ie clockwise) will develop certain muscles disproportionately and will lead to injuries (and also to having one thigh for differently into clothing bc it's muscles are larger 🤣). Please consider this when you get to the point where you are out there regularly. :D Your courage is inspiring; it's been quite some time since I've branched out of my comfort zone, and watching you be brave is inspiring me to dream a bit bigger. :) Congrats!!!
I love it It’s like a cha cha Your tutorial is amazing Thank You 🙏🏾

These videos totally just got me out of my rut!!!!!!!
You’re hilarious! “Put that damn thing down!!!” Great videos!
What size/ kind of hoop are you using? Your videos and instructions are so helpful and fun 😊 Thanks!
Ughhh, I have been trying to get this move down for 5 years!
It's so tricky. I don't think it's a beginner move to be honest. I'm still refining it like 10 years later ahaha
Love your videos! I need to practice while I am watching!
Awesome video!
Great explanations of the hoop sizes and all in a quick video. My question is I'm pretty short, only 5 feet and my belly button reaches about 35.5 inches from ground so would the medium sized hoop you showed be fine for me or should I still get a bigger 40 inch hoop size? For other reference I have longer arms than I do legs.
Hi Kristin, apologies for the late response. I strongly suggest you measure from the floor to your hips to give you the best size for a beginner hoop. You can opt for a larger hoop, but you may grow out of this very quickly. I'd stick to following the measurement guide as it'll give your hoop more longevity as you start your journey into hoop dance.
Wow thank you so much! This video has helped me so much. Can’t wait to watch more videos just subscribed💞🥰 xx
Hi, I really appreciate the feedback! I will be uploading some more stuff in the near future, possibly some iso work and combos
Thanks so much for these videos! You're a great teacher xx
I really appreciate that. I'm so glad to hear you find them helpful. :)
Hi, how much is its spf? Does it adapt the skin tone later on?can it be use by a little bit tanned skin tone?
Mavic Jumola no spf as far as I'm aware. The tone is quite pale and although it blends it won't adapt to your skin tone. I suggest you mix it with your foundation or a darker shade to get it to match.
u always use a setting spray and translucent powder is to set ur under eye and or ur makeup. a setting spray is Ur last step so ur makeup stays all day.
Twitchey1 are you asking me or telling me? I'm not sure what's prompted this comment. I don't always use a spray but I almost always use a powder
Penelope Nuk'em I was just letting u know...not all foundations need to be set with powder...
Twitchey1 I use it to stop my mascara smudging under my eyes and creases from foundation and I find that setting it makes it last longer and leaves a nice finish. I like to use it. its a review video. I'm not sure why youre commenting about this???
oooo i like xx that tesco thing is ancient hahaha. :) i subbed. i do loadsa stuff and hair stuff on my channel. come say hey i think youll like it x
Yess , thanks me too, i think is from China, i have Toorune, more or less the same and it is pale, but adaps to your skyn tone, i am from spain but living in China now, so its easy to get, and i really like it, maybe i will try caicui, it semms a little darker than mine, butn mine i love! Thanksss
Thank you so much I've been waiting for someone to review this product for quite some time now!
Is a table spoon the same as a dessert one and would vosine shampoo work - does it work on permanent hair colour?
Sorry for the horrendously late reply, a dessert spoon is a size smaller. Its what you'd use to eat with (that isn't a tea spoon) as opposed to a table spoon which you would use to serve food. I don't know what Vosine shampoo is. It doesn't matter about the brand, as long as it is anti dandruff, its the key ingredient in that will help to remove the colour. Head and Shoulders seems to be the most effective but you could use any cheaper alternative.
ok thanks
Dude, baking soda and bicarbonate of soda. Are the same thing.
sorry, i meant to say baking soda + cream of tar tar created baking powder. I did the video in one take and it was the first time i'd tried it. I had a lot of ingredients. sorry if there was any confusion :) Also, in the details the ingredients are listed and I have noted that bicarb of soda and baking soda are the same thing.
Oh! I was a bit confused haha
I hope it goes well. let me know :)
