Always enjoy watching other ZJ rock crawlers. Mine's on 35's, more of an overlander than a rock crawler. Although, she has completed the Rubicon quite handily.
Se ve impresionante.. felicitaciones. Cuanto levante tiene? Cambiaste los ejes? Que kit de brazos de suspensión pusiste?? Gracias y Felicitaciones nuevamente
Got a 96 ZJ I6 im building up right now same color an all with the 60s front n rear. 5.38 full spool rear with 40s Yours is a beast I want that hydro too
Straight beast mode brother 💪! Love the ZJ as I have been building and wheeing mine for years now. That's a pretty knarley trail I'm assuming NW somewhere?
Looks nice dude! I just started a build series on my 94 zj on KY channel. Probably not looking to go 40" but most likely 37's for now. How top heavy do you feel with the 9" lift?
I'm getting ready to put Jeep Wrangler JL axles and 40's under my ZJ. I've already trimmed as much fender as I can. How much lift did u put on yours? Did u move the front axle forward and the rear axle back? If so, how much? What kind of offset & backspacing do u have? Thanks for any help u can give me.
@@edapps1721Stock, the spring perches are directly over the axles. Did u weld the spring perches on the back side of the front axle and the front side of the rear axle to keep the springs verticle? Thanks again.
@@2rkh the factory perches are actually not centered over the axles. I moved the rear perch location on the axle and moved the upper on the front frame side forward and out
@@edapps1721 Gotcha. Thank you for the info. I have a buddy that is a mechanic and will be doing all the work. He said he's not sure if 40's would fit or if it would be drivable on the street. So I sent him a link to your video. Lol. Thanks for your help.
No reason for the sway bars to still be connected, we drove it 150klm to the trail and was just too lazy, if they needed to be disconnected on the trail we would have, it just performed really well so we didn't bother.
That means the sway bar is too weak for for Dana 60 which is much heavier then the d30 and won’t do its job on highway Had same problem with mine after d60 install in front, mine was more pronounced because I still have the short arms
what axles are on there? the jeep looks fantastic

👍Good trail🏁 saludos desde Tijuana MX✌
You must get tons of tie rod roll with that steering setup
Yes. The hydro assist made it much better. On the plus side it has zero bumpsteer
Suspension works nicely with these big tires, why front sway bar connected
