Weird Grub - Do You Know What I Am?
I spotted this grub in my backyard in South East Queensland, Australia. Never seen one before, I have no idea what it is. It's kinda gross.

Big Snake Living In Backyard
Просмотров 402 года назад
The Carpet Python is a common snake found in S.E. Queensland, Australia, The last few weeks I have noticed this carpet snake sunning it's self on this pile of grass and twigs that I had raked up in the backyard. I was curious to see where it was living so I set up the camera last time he was sunning it self and managed to film where it was going to after being out in the sun. It was sliding dow...

Old Cane Train Lines Through Mangroves at Bli Bli.
Просмотров 1003 года назад
Remains of the old cane train lines at Bli Bli. These old lines ran down to the river at Bli Bli to the cane punt used to ferry cane across from the other side of the Maroochy River. Horses were used to pull the punt across which was unloaded onto the lines and taken by the locos to the sugar mill in Nambour. The Trump stickers were once bright shiny and new, now they are just faded and peeling...

Poo Apocalypse Now!
Просмотров 393 года назад
How much poo can a dog do? Turns out my Labrador can do a lot, way more than me. It seems all the backyard dung beetles are on lock-down at moment. Could be the weather? Hope they will be back soon and ready to tunnel into the sea of dog poo and save me from my poo apocalypse.

I thought this looked familiar, and then I saw my house! I also work for AusPost as a relief PSO, and I am proud to work in the same region as you!
Love the 10km/hr section after 2:00 (because we all do 10 km/hr on the footpath right?)
Professional idiots driving through it.
So close yet so far
Bongo And Ozzy And Ken
Epic.
Cheers mate.
Need a little telescoping camera to see inside the nest when its vacant
They can get a bit 🤬cranky if you get in their face. I'm a bit nervous mowing around the pile and trimming around the edge with my weed wacker, just waiting for the baby snakes to come out.
And all this time, I just thought my dog was eating it…
You don't need a bike licence to ride for that right?
A bike license is required.
Go straight turn left
Great video man keep it up. I reckon they put the old Suzuki dr200se as a mailman bike
Are they the ones where the gears are the opposite - I think I have ridden them long time ago. They were crap as Postie bikes. Cheers mate.
We used dung beetles in Iraq for our waste system.
I am a new convert ! Have ridden a few but scored a ct110 for nothing , a little bit of love an I reckon come find me
Good score Tane - good luck mate.
Good enough to travel the world
Yes indeed, good enough. Although I would prefer something with more grunt.
I don’t know what’s a dumpbeetle?
Dumpbeetle is a great name! Perfect name for a dung beetle.
Great place
I've never seen snow - I'd probably faint and you would have to throw a bucket of dust in my face to bring me around.
tennis anyone?
Nice video

Hi Panagiotis - thanks for your comment - I see on your website you have an outdoor wood fired oven - my friends are massive wood fired oven fans - they even make and sell tools for wood fired ovens - I love to go over and watch them firing up and making bread.
Dead Kelly needs harmonica!!!
Ok not sure what dead Kelly needs Harmonica means but ok
Mostly footage of Macrobrachium... Fish killa!
I'm also a postman, but in Portugal. I do some rural areas, around 100km route. Used to have a cbf125 which is great to deal with poorly kept dirt roads (mainly used by tractors and dirt bikes) and some hilly n' curvy mountain roads. About a month ago they replaced all the cbf for honda vision110. Although it is actually the nicest little thing, actually the ONLY scooter I've kinda enjoyed riding, it's incapable of doing the kind of route I do. Got stuck in a 18% uphills dirt road. And this is some expert level type of shit. Lots of gravel, sand, and more cracks and holes than a crack whore. I did end up climbing it, but since then had to use a different road which added another 10k to the route. Plus it takes a lot of the joy of riding a motorcycle. An automatic just isn't fun. The damn thing even has a really high shield, which means I can't even stand up, the thing is in the way.
Giday mate - I just looked up the cbf125 = good bike - looked up the vision 110 and nearly fell off my chair, it is a just scooter.... my goodness I feel your pain. You would love the the tough motorcycles we are fortunate enough to use here in Australia. At times it can be a real joy riding around delivering the mail. Don't get me wrong it can be really rough going sometimes (motocross) but our bikes here are strong enough to handle our delivery rounds. I am so sorry you are using a Vision 110 it looks to be totally unsuitable bike for the job. (It looks like it would break under the stresses of mail delivery, I'm pretty sure I would break that thing in half on my first day of using it) Mate your expert level skills are clearly being wasted on the Vision scooter it looks like a real piece of shit. Wolf, I will do a walk around video of my postie bike to show you how it is set up if you are interested. Cheers Mate.
@@ozsuncoastlost access to that channel and just camed across your vid again 😂 cheers!
@@ozsuncoastwould love that vid if it's still a possibility btw 😅
I’m just not going to ride my bike in spring
Com’on don’t let the bird beat you - they are bird’s
I was swooped 6 times in 20 minutes just trying to weed my garden. At least 30 swoops in two weeks. Getting fed up.
Try wearing a motorcycle helmet - it helps a lot 😎
Try feeding them some mince meat. We did that with magpies, they come and sit with us now.
mince meat is great with some rat killer mixed in with it
Ohhh wow theres not many likes or views and only 3 comments😂😅
Hi Kimberly - I did not expect any views or comments - dung beetles are awesome - I did video for my amusement - I’m stoked that some people are interested enough to view it. Cheers for your comment.
I just same to see tumblebugs if I could, apparently the Forrest service put out a bulletin to not freak out seeing rolling poop in the smokey mountains.
@@preferredduck1 ha ha ha.
Hope they sacked you for exceeding 10km\h on the footpath.
Please,,, Okay, okay princess VeganTard your absolutely right it's 10km/h on the footpath - cheers!
Try doing a full day's run at only 10km/h.. you wouldn't be getting home till after dark.. you only get paid till like 1.30pm at most..
@@IceBoNeZ you get paid overtime in Aus. But yeah they also don't want to stay out there all day.
@Rennie Ash , Well roster hours end at 1.51pm, and yes you do get overtime, but generally they recommend you be back at base by 5pm.
what variety of dung beetle is it?
Seems like the tunnelers.
GEE, AND HERE WAS THINKING THE BUTCHERBIRD WAS SUCH A LOVELY BIRD. IM PRETTY SURE THE SAME BIRDS ARE AROUND HERE WHERE I LIVE. NOW IM NOT SO IMPRESSED WITH THEM AFTER SEEING THIS. THEY HAVE NEVER EVER COME DOWN TO ATTACK ME LIKE THIS. THEY HAVE ONLY EVER SUNG TO ME OUTSIDE WHILE I ANSWER THEM BACK AND THEY HAVE KEPT ON SINGING TO ME. AND WHEN I GO OUT THEY HAVE NEVER COME DOWN TO ME LIKE THIS.
Probably because you're not a cyclist. No one likes cyclists.
Interesting comment about possibly using the sun to their advantage. Hehe, plucky little bird, it really is a beautiful video!
Glad you liked video!
Mine has no exorst it broke off
i got hit by this bird.
Sorry to hear you got hit. You don't see them coming and then bam - right on the head. One time I fell off my bike when I was attacked. It frightened the heck out me. Watch the skies!
karma : )
Holy Guacamole Batman that looked like hard work! Makes you think that $1 stamp is pretty good value really!!! How sad you won't get a tickle out of the new bikes. That's progress for you. Kills all the fun...
the new bikes are still pretty fun
Can I cuddle it #so cute
are these tuneling beatles more apropiate for dog dung?
They love dog dung. Every dog owner should get some dung beetles for their backyard.
@@ozsuncoastdo you know what species?
where are the beatles?
They are very small and I should have zoomed in some more. These beetles do a pretty good job of demolishing good sized lumps of dog dung. They seem to prefer firm dog dung and do not like sloppy runny dog dung. I will do better job and zoom in a lot more for next video.
I gave your camera one of my meds, it must have a bit of tolerance because they usually work better than that
I hope no passionfruit were hurt in the making of this"video"
Neil what a great question. I can tell you this.... your hope is has been fulfilled - no passion fruit were injured while making this "video". This may be a bit personal Neil but, have you considered talking to a health professional about reducing/increasing your "medication"? I only ask out of concern for your well-being. Straight Out Of Nambour.
Amazing footage!

Thanks for video SunCoast I just had 2 days of back to back off road triathlon at Ewen Maddock Dam over a difficult course in extreme conditions without a scratch... then our car gets totalled on the way home!! Thanks to everyone who helped while I was trapped in the car and also the various emergency services, the hospital staff (all total professionals), who were involved . few cuts, fractured wrist all good ....as they say anyone you can walk away from is a good one!!
Hi Ken - Glad to hear there were no serious injuries. It must have been a very frightening experience. We heard the sound of the crash at my place - it was very loud and I live up past the Castle (a fair distance away). I thought it was at the round-about and could not believe it was right in the middle of the David Low Way Bridge. I have lived here for over thirty years and i am sorry to say yours is the only major accident on the bridge in all that time. It requires the drivers full concentration to cross. Anyway - Stay Upright.
So cute! We just got two yabbies today. My three years old is Sarting to get intersted in all things that live in water, its quite cute actually.
April Lidgerwood Thank you for your comment. I hope your two yabbies are well and healthy. I get a lot of enjoyment out of caring for and observing yabbies. Cheers.
