Algebraic Method for Balancing Chemical Equations: Fe + H2SO4 = FeSO4 + Fe2(SO4)3 + H2O + SO2
Please watch the entire part near the end! I make a disclaimer about the answer for this chemical equation. Also let me know if there are any mistakes!

This video demonstrates how to algebraically balance Cu HNO3 = Cu(NO3)2 NO H2O. I recommend watching other simple videos before attempting this problem. Also make sure to have some algebra skills with you :) Also sorry for the video orientation. My camera set up is not the best. Make sure to use the best video quality. Hopefully this video helps.
Wow thank you so much❤🎉
Amazing ❤✨
❤😊 best enough
13:17 how u did -2 i didnt understand that part ?
How the fuck does this works soooo good and I'm just knowing it now
Thank you!!...
Tysm 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Love and Respect from India 🇮🇳❤
why have you used -2?
To create an equation that could be used to eliminate two of the variables.
Best❤
Good video
amazing broooo..💓
I don't understand , is so complex
Lalo akong nahilo
Pinataas mo lalo
😂😂
For the equation Mg + P4 -----> Mg3P2, why must c=1? a=1 gives a wrong answer.
If a=1 gives a wrong answer you can say a=2
HOLY, GOD!

Thank You Man
Thank you ❤❤
Well take time....how long the equation.. Bell is ringing...
How you get -2
hey i did not understand why u multiplied 3b=6+3d+e with -2
It is to eliminate e
@@gadisamohammed9513 but why use -2? can any number be used in it's place to eliminate e?
He did that to eliminate variables and be left with one variable. when d an e was eliminated, b was solved. The technique is similar to that used in a simultaneous equation. If you add the two equations for the unitary b you would get 2b=6d+2e+2 (sum of equations 1 and 2) -6b=-6d-2e-12 (equation 3 times -2) -4b= 0+ 0 -10 -4b=-10 b=-10/-4 = 2.5 or 5\2 Remember your integers - divided by negative returns a positive! This seemed complicated but the strategy was to get a linear equation through elimination, solve for b and solve for the other variables by substitution.
@@MarciaArleneDebra ty.. I was not aware of the concept of simultaneous equations at that time.. thx for taking ur time to explain it to me
@@welln0w Sorry if I'm late. It is because in the equation the value of e is 2.
Wrong my answer is coming 3cu+8hno3 - 3cu(no3)2+2no2+4h20

KMno4+SO2+H2O-> K2SO4+MnO4+H2SO4 COULD you balance using algebraic method
That’s a great question, I’m trying it out and having a difficult time. Did you mean KMnO4 + SO2 + H2O -> K2SO4 + MnSO4 + H2SO4 instead? I’ll keep trying what you asked and if I get something I’ll let you know!
@@henrylam9984 its the same, also im in grade 9 and wanted to learn balance method. is there easy way to balance
Hello! This video is super helpful! Could the arbitrary value be anything? For example, could it be 2 or 3? Would you still be able to solve it?
Hi there! Yes you can use 2 or 3, what will happen if you declare another value is that the rest of the numbers will change accordingly. It’s sort of like changing the ratios to a cooking recipe. I also made a video on how to declare an arbitrary value if that helps!

How
Can such equations be weighed using casio calculator 991
Hi Mohamed, yes I think you can solve a systems of equations using a Casio calculator FX-991. I have never used a Casio calculator before. However, here is a video I found online that shows how to input a systems of equation in the calculator. ruclips.net/video/b4-UYhT7mkQ/видео.html Hope this helps!

Can you plz do this one plz, balance the reaction Fe + H2SO4 = FeSO4 + Fe2(SO4)3 + H2O + SO2
Hi Mohamed, I just posted a video on the reaction! ruclips.net/video/2MlMmH4f4MI/видео.html This one is an interesting case, I have found two solutions to balance the reaction. The video is long but goes in depth in how I found a solution. You can skip to the solutions if you'd like. Also the quality of the video may be poor, it is still loading. Hope this helps!
@@henrylam9984 Thank you. I have benefited. Although the video is long, it was not longer than the day it took me to try to solve it.. I apologize for my poor English because I use Google Translate
S😊😊😊😊
Have a chemistry test over this tomorrow and this seriously helped me understand redox reactions. I didn’t understand before. Thank you!
Thanks for teaching But it was to complex😑😑... But it's ok I will be understand
I will also be understand 😂
Thnx brother ❤
tysm i thought balancing this was impossible TuT
AMAZING
Why the value of b=10/4. ,not 5/2 .? Whats the difference from philippines .
Hi there! Thank you for the question. b=10/4 is the same as b=5/2. You can use either one. Make sure that your coefficients are whole numbers at the end.
He did not reduce it to the lowest terms, they are equivalent fractions.
Thank you so much 😍
Plss solve it properly you have done some mistake I have made it in the same manner and my answer matches with the solution so kindly check the mistake you made 😊
Thank you so much....helped a lot
Sir plzz try to explain in hindi😊😅
Hi sir, could I use this method in solving the thermal decomposition of ammonium dichromate which gives chromium(III) oxide, water and nitrogen?
Hi there! Yes you absolutely can! It should work. If you start with the following: (NH4)2[Cr2O7] and go through decomposition to give Cr203 + 4 H2O + N2 So 1:1:4:1 is the balanced reaction.
Very helpful video bro
Thank you very much 👏 this video helped me a lot keep it up 👍👍
