From what town does the trip begin?
Was this the "new" version, or the original version. As of the end of July 2024, they have two versions, looking very similar. The "new" version is about $5 more.
Thank you for an awesome video. Very helpful and detailed. Thanks again :)
Is air supposed to come out of the sides of the handle when pumping? Mine will not extract pumping by hand or using a compressor.
I had an issue once where it wasn't extracting oil and it turned out that the hose I was using was a little too big for the dipstick slide. So I used a smaller hose and then everything worked fine. Try using a smaller hose and make sure that it's going all the way to the bottom of the drain pan.
@@MidLifeCrisisAdventureshow would you know that?
I just received mine and am having the same issue! When I use the hand pump, I have air coming out of the air vents on the actual handle. That is preventing suction. Did you resolve yours?
I emailed the manufacturer and they sent me another one. The new one worked good.
@@MrTubechannel1 Did you order yours through Amazon? Did you have to return it through Amazon? And did the new one they sent you also have air coming out of the handle with each manual pump?
I need this for my truck 🛻
I’d rather have a hard tire on my turbo. I’m running rockabilly tires right now and hate them. Extremely soft. Great rock tire but I do more than crawling so hard tire it is.
I bought a set of thesebohanzee tires for my kawasaki mule pro. I couldn't be more disappointed. They are very nice tires, but unfortunately the treadbis not true on the carcass, so they wobble severely and that translates into vibration and a shaking steering wheel at speeds over 55kmh.
That's disappointing to hear. My experience was completely opposite. 70 mph on pavement was straight and true with no wobble at all. You might double check your alignment.
🔥🔥🔥
Was thinking about getting this, wondering how it has held up?
So far so good. I've done about a dozen oil changes with it now.
How has thing held up over time? Any problems at all?
@@loghome7061 I just finished two more oil changes and still works perfectly 😁
Groovy place. We’ve been there but no lodging that’s pet friendly.
What do you think so far. I just picked up 5 of the 27x9-12 for my MavT.
Jarbidge is known by many it's just to far away from everywhere and to far down dusty dirt roads to ever get overwhelmed lol relax.
That's what we love about it.
@@kathymullen6496 Probably a good place to be if we ever get into nuclear war but then again would we want to survive only to live through nuclear winter and starve to death.
I bought the same extractor. I may not be using it right or I could have a defective unit. Pumping took about 20 minutes for 1L and air compressor did not seem to help create a vacuum either. Ultimately I gave up Any tips? Air compressor setting? looking back I tried the smallest hose which had a pretty bad flow rate. Does the main hose work initially before having to use the smaller one? I really wanted to like extracting oil vs using a lift. Any recommendations are appreciated!
Once I had an issue where it wasn't extracting and it turned out the hose I put into the dipstick tube was too big and stopping before it reached the oil. Also it really helps to warm up the oil. Not hot but warm.
I got the Aurora's, 30 10 14 and at 12psi they are only 28inches. Im surprised to see these true to size.
Omg! I just used this thing on my wife's Mercedes (which is a bitch to drain from the bottom with all of the panels you need to remove) and it took me 1/10 of the time it normally does! Amazing! Thanks for the video. Best $50 I've ever spent 😀
Think you could do some light / mid mudding in them as well? I want a more all around tire. Plus something to use around the neighborhood with the kids.
Great video thank you
I have this and it don't hold all the tubes in the holder.
Mine does
@@sptt144 Strange. I must say though. It worked great. using a air compressor it sucked it out in just a couple min. I have a Jag XF-R and it holds 7.7 quarts of oil and got it all out.
I was skeptical about the oil extractor. Now that I've watched your video I'm going to get one. I've always wanted one and now I have to get one because of the ease of use. 1 question, can it drain itself instead of pouring?
No it can only be poured.
Pouring is no big deal though.
Still loving it after several months of use?
Yes for sure. It's been a real $$ saver for me to do my own work.
Just ordered mine last night be here Sunday do my own oil changes now in my car.nice thing to my oil filter is on top lol no going underneath
Yeah our jeep oil filter is on top of the engine. It's so easy do do these oil changes now! I plan on still having a shop do it every third change for inspections and greasing.
Is this a vacuum only or can it be reversed to pump/push fluid as well?
Vacuum only.
Thanks for the video. What's the wire thing with the loop at the end for? Thanks
That's a small soft hose so they put a wire in that one to keep it stiff until it's in place.
I got the Ocelot P-350s for my little ATV. It's mostly a work machine and I don't get to go cruising on it a lot but I gotta say for the price & the service you get from Chaparral Motorsports they are well worth the money 👍👍
They don't seem like they have much of a Rim protection or none at all, can you let me know if it does or not , thanks for your time
You've opened my eyes up to a term I hadn't heard before. No they have very little rim protection. Almost none.
Is this using the usual air outlet from the air compressor, or is it somehow connected to the air intake?
Just a standard air outlet.
@@MidLifeCrisisAdventures Thanks. I can't figure out how that actually works, but am glad to hear it is a that simple.
@@stephencaplan8514The handpump works just as fast. I tried both but the handpump was fine and less noisy.
What air pressure do you use?
If memory serves I think about 75 psi.
Update yet?

Well done video. Very Kool. Jarbridge is getting a lot of attention on Social Media lately. Not sure if the locals need that. I'm envious of the strong people who live there year round. A classic example of American Spirit
Why is it getting so much attention suddenly? Hopefully it’s remote nature keeps people out.
I first visited there 20 years ago and have really fallen in love with the area. I was very conflicted making the video because it is an area I don't want to see get overwhelmed.
@@MidLifeCrisisAdventures being a Fernley native, the only Nevada I’ve ever known is desert. One of these days I’ll make the trip into the Jarbidge wilderness, it’s a hidden gem that should stay hidden.

I couldn't even tell ya. The video clips are well over 10 years old. I found them on my computer and put them together for the dogs owner since the dog has passed away since.

What a beautiful dog!

Here in England we're not allowed such wonderful animals. However, with the reintroduction of wolves to Britain we hold hope of the increased popularity of both the wolf and wolf-dogs. There will be difficulties, naturally. The public will be frightened. But, nevertheless wolf-dogs may become popular exotic pets of the British. We have rare reported incidents from long ago, it's part of our history. If it worked in the past it can work again.
great looking pupper.
