ABOUT MY BOOKS: FLOODED EMPTINESS
In 2024, right before the winter, Brazil Southern state of Rio Grande do Sul was almost completely destroyed by the strongest flooding that we have ever seen.
As the news and my friends there informed me about what was going on, my heart was invaded by a deep sadness and I started feeling I was completely useless.
My friends and their families were suffering absurdly. I could not reach them. I could not save them. I couldn’t stop those heavy and endless rains.
All the beautiful landscapes I loved in Rio Grande do Sul, from that time, wouldn’t be the same again. Some of them simply disappeared…
Everything started happening on May. Four months later and the destruction is still there.
