    I’ve only watched 1/3 so far, of this video, and I can tell already, it’s going to be my Bible when it comes to Learning Embroidery. I have this thing for embroidered cream colored wild flower pillow covers. I cannot find anything in my linking, online. So, like I have always told my daughters,’ if you can’t find what makes your heart skip a beat, make it.’ That seems to be what gets me passed my decorating my home plateau. I hope at least one person gets what I’m sayin. 😊 hope everyone here is having a great evening August 24th at 6:43 pm Michigan time! 🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️❤️ ❤❤

    Thank you! My mom taught me how to emboidery when I was a child. I taught my daughter when she was young and never embroidered again. I'm 68 and forgot even the back stitch. This is a great refresher course for me. I'm making felt food and felt toys which some require stitches for decorative and definition effects.

    do i tie a knot on the tail ??

    • @iheartstitchart
      @iheartstitchart 21 день назад

      You tie a knot on the end of the long length of thread, but not on the shorter tail; is that what you mean? You need a knot at the end to anchor the thread but if you have a knot on the tail as well you won't be able to pull the needle through. I hope that answers your question! :)

    How do people figure out the hand coordination to poke out from the underside without flipping the project over?

    • @iheartstitchart
      @iheartstitchart 2 месяца назад

      It really comes from practice! I struggled with this at first but I found the most helpful thing was/still is to use the fingers of my left hand (or right hand, if you're a leftie) to press on the back of the fabric and that helps me landmark where my needle comes up. I will use my fingers to put a bit of pressure on the fabric and also help guide my needle. I'm currently teaching myself to stitch with my left hand, and honestly training my right hand to hold the hoop/guide the needle is the largest part of the challenge! If you practice it will start to become natural. Hope that helps!

    Why would the sell the 6 strands together when only three is needed

      Because 3 tangles much easier.

    • @iheartstitchart

    Thank you for your videos. Very clear and well explained. How do you print the designs you need to embroider?

    • @iheartstitchart
      @iheartstitchart 2 месяца назад

      For these ones, I have screen-printed them in my studio. But there are many ways to transfer a pattern to fabric - at home you would print it out in the size you want, and then you can either use carbon transfer paper, layer pattern + fabric over a light source and trace with a heat-erase pen, or actually print the pattern on special papers that iron on or stick on. It is a wide topic and really depends on your preferences and the fabric you are using! I'll do a video on it soon but hopefully that helps meanwhile.

    I really don’t understand the issues with the music. It’s really not bad at all. But I also couldn’t imagine telling someone else how to film their videos. Literally educating us for free and people have the nerve to tell the teacher how to teach. Make your own videos if you don’t like it
