This is another great method. The two different threads is genius!!
I love this method!!! I dislike the other ones cuz they make feel so inadequate. Im not good at the gluing it neatly. I havent tried the blanket stitch yet but it seems too much fun.
Thank you! Best video for learning basic embroidery stitches. 🧵 🪡
Hi Sista. You have neat and clean explanation. Perfectly i have learnt. So sweet of you. Thank You. Why U stopped making videos? Can you explain the beaded jewelry same like this ?. But This are so neat to learn. Love from INDIA ❤
Thank you!! This tutorial is perfection.
Thank you very muchhh❤
Wonderful beginners start. I'm intrigued
What is the best kind of fabric to use when creating an embroidered image that will later be framed?
You're a good teacher thank you
Three ways to make a knort - who knew? Thanks.
agulo ki sell kora jai please kew aktoo bolen
love the tutorial and that you still reply to comments lol
Two rules I break are tying a knot, because I am careful to not pull to much of that back end forward, and 50cm thread, I use double that in most things, but I also have very long arms and am too lazy to thread needles more often 😂
thanks slay queen this is exactly what i was looking for
Thank you for being my cheerleader😂🩷! I’ll be getting 5 more for Christmas presents!
You are so easy for me to watch your video and understand quickly. I am really excited to make mine now for my daughter for her first Christmas away from home studying at the University of Utah. I haven’t stitched in 29 years! *feelin my age* 😅 empty nesting is not my thing but she’s rockin university life. I’m going to order a bunch more for sister-in-law gifts!!
Sooo glad to hear this video is helpful! And I love that you're making one for your daughter... I'm sure empty nesting is a big transition, for you and for her! Let me know if you have any questions. :)
So u dont reuse the rings?
With this method of backing, no... you'd need a new hoop for the next project. But there are many other ways to display a finished embroidery and in that case you'd re-use the hoop. :)
@@iheartstitchart thank u!
2pm ❤love the super easy way you tutorial your work!!😊I haven't done embroidery for years. So i lost my ways of doing all the different stitches, your helping me so much with your videos. A big thank you goes out to yah!!😊😊
I'm so glad to know my videos are helpful! Let me know if any questions. Enjoy. :)
Yes I sure will!!
Can you do a tutorial on how to embroider a cute design (such as strawberry or heart or cherries) onto the Trader Joe's mini-tote bag? Would love to personal such a popular item. Thank you.
William - that is a fantastic idea! I'm in Canada and we don't have TJ's here (sadly) but maybe if I can get my hands on one somehow, I'll do as you suggest! Those tote bags sure seem to be a hit.
Oh my goodness I just found your videos and I am only half way through this one but you are amazing and such a good teacher. I am house bound now and spend many hours sitting on the couch so I wanted another option to do crafts and just got my first embroidery project today and literally found you when I searched for beginner stitching. I will save this video and play it over many times as I learn all the beautiful stitches. How kind of you to do this video for us for free. Thank you so much ✨🥰✨
You are so, so welcome! I'm glad my video was helpful, and glad you are trying stitching... Embroidery is perfect for those times when you can't get out much; I hope it brings you comfort and contentment. :)
Thank you for sharing such a wonderful video for beginners! Your clear explanation of basic techniques like knotting, backstitch, running stitch, and satin stitch is very easy to follow and helpful. Has anyone tried combining these basic embroidery stitches into their own work yet?
Thank you for such a nice comment, and I'm so glad my video was helpful!
Needle to the thread vs. thread to the needle is where I was messing up. Thank you so much!
It's the game-changer! So glad I was able to help. :)
Thank you, what a great method to finish the embroidery. I guess it's totally secure once the two pieces of fabric are between the hoops?
Hi Christine, yes, it's very secure. I mean, if you punch it or use it as a ping pong paddle, it's going to come loose, but for display purposes - like hanging on a wall - it's completely secure! :D
I LOVE IT, IM NEW AND IT FEELS GOOD AND COMFORTABLE FOR ME,,VERY INFORMATIVE
So glad!
This is perfect for me. I got the stuff I needed and I thought the instructions in the set would explain everything but it left out a lot. I want to learn this and your videos are clear and helpful.
Glad I could help!
I couldn't really understand how to do the stem stitch without vocal explanation 🤦🏻♀️
I actually have an individual video for stem stitch that does have vocals - you can find it here: ruclips.net/video/TkcT-_u-WQk/видео.html Hope that helps!
do you knot embroidery thread?
You tie a knot at the end of your thread, to anchor it. There are also ways to anchor it without a knot, but for beginners I recommend just using a knot! Not sure if that answers your question but I hope that helps. :)
Chain stitch was nice 😊
Chain stitch is one of my faves - it's very satisfying to do! :)
I’m excited to start.
I'm so glad! Hope you enjoy embroidery! I do try to make the tutorials as easy to follow as possible and I'm glad that is helpful. :)
Thank you for your time in teaching these stitches. I appreciate you and your skill. It’s always different when you see someone else do it their way. I enjoyed your class. Kindly, Barb
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a very kind comment, Barb!
❤
Thank you!
Thank you so much!
You're welcome!
Thank you! I really appreciate your tutorials on the embroidery stitches. I'm a beginner and you are the first one I have found on you tube who actually slowly teaches the stitches. Thank you again you're awesome!
Thank you Dianah! I was aiming to teach everything slowly and clearly so I'm glad that was helpful to you! And I appreciate you taking the time to leave such a very kind comment. :)

Thank you so much for the free patterns. I will check these out today.
Hope you enjoy them!
I love your information, but I’m sorry the music is so distracting. I would just love to hear your voice only in a friendly conversation.
Thank you for the feedback!
Awesome tips. And easy to follow pace. Didn't feel like I had to rush nor did I have to keep going back. Your great!
Thank you Amanda, I appreciate that so much! :)
Beautiful work ❤
Thank you Karen!
Thank you so much. I brought a Chinese fan bookmark embroider kit and it was my first time did. Ur video really helps me.
I'm so glad my video was helpful! :D
I just realized..you reply to EVERYONE. 😮..that’s like…..👀😱..unheard of. I really appreciate you! 🎉
I do try! I appreciate when someone takes the time to leave a comment. :)
I’ve only watched 1/3 so far, of this video, and I can tell already, it’s going to be my Bible when it comes to Learning Embroidery. I have this thing for embroidered cream colored wild flower pillow covers. I cannot find anything in my linking, online. So, like I have always told my daughters,’ if you can’t find what makes your heart skip a beat, make it.’ That seems to be what gets me passed my decorating my home plateau. I hope at least one person gets what I’m sayin. 😊 hope everyone here is having a great evening August 24th at 6:43 pm Michigan time! 🤸🏻♀️🤸🏻♀️🤸🏻♀️🤸🏻♀️❤️ ❤❤
Oh my goodness, I love the sounds of those pillow covers! Good luck with them; I fully support making things; you get the item just as you want it, plus the joy of making it. :) And thank you for taking the time to leave such a kind comment!
Yes, the music is terrible and not necessary. Sorry to criticize but my goodness. But thank you for the content
Thank you for the feedback!
I agree...No music.. everything else is great!!
Thank you for the feedback!
This was extremely helpful ❤
Thank you Sophie! I'm glad. :)
What kind of fabric do you suggest?
I like linen or cotton, anything with some heft but also a bit of a looser weave! Essex Linen is a great one to start with, usually found in any quilting fabric store; there are lots of options online as well. I sell some different types but I also recommend just going to your local fabric store and looking around. :)
Sad, all videos play loud obnoxious music. Instructions are great thank you.
Glad you found my instructions helpful, thank you for the feedback! :)
Thakns you
You're welcome! <3
Excellent tutorial
Thank you! <3
Thanks for the knot tying tip! ❤
You're very welcome! It's a game-changer, right? :D
