The v looking thing should be facing down when you tighten the bracket on. You had it pointing up.
How many courses allow you to use it?
My home club wanted to check it out first before allowing me to use it there, and they had no issues. It's very light and the fat tires avoid putting too much pressure in one place on the turf. The two things I would say to watch out for are A) it's really fast! (so be a little careful if not on the fairways, etc.) and B) if it's rained at all recently, the tires will kick up a lot of mud on your shorts and shirt - I've made that mistake one time too many and had to drive home to change before my round :)
@@wiscogolfaddict Yeah, I tried getting scooters, golfboard, and ebike opitons out there, but at my local public club, there wasn't a lot of cooperation. But...that was last year, so maybe they're worn down enough to consider it now.

Determining your Fairway Woods based off of a three wood and your iron based off of the six iron is a joke. This could keep me away from club champion.
I watch a lot of golf fitting videos and although no one prior has been this cut and dry about it, it seems this is standard at least with irons. I don't like it either but from what I've herd, no fitter could stock an entire set of every brand and model within the brand. Therefore they have standardized on the 6i. If you know of a place or chain that fits all clubs please let me know. I know I like some of my irons better than others so how they can fit me for an entire set based off of one I don't know. I do plan on having a gapping fitting done once the clubs are ready though. That should get the individual tweaks done.
Folks. A real review. Skip it. While the design is truly original it’s also no fun. Perhaps a low single digit handicap golfer may appreciate the challenge they still won’t likely enjoy the course. Multiple divided fairways culminating with a triple fairway on 18. The sands dividing the fairways are long and rocky. We also had one good caddy and one who would forget clubs and couldn’t read a putt. The facilities are minimal yet they are charging premium rates. Want great Florida golf with premium facilities? Head to Streamsong and play Red and Blue (two world class courses) with a fantastic hotel and restaurants. Feel like you need to play Citrus. Cool. Doubt you’ll go back.
Respectfully, I disagree. I’m sure they’re working the kinks out with caddies since it’s a brand new course and all, but I thought the golf there is exceptionally creative, well-designed and a really fun golf experience. The Wedge and Squeeze are a ton of fun, too, and I can’t wait to check out The Roost!
I respect your review but I think it depends a lot on how you approach the game. Living in Florida a lot of course are the same and it gets boring. I think the course plays extremely fair even for mid/high handicappers. There is a ton of room on tee shots but the greens are well protected and challenging. Going into Cabot most people are shocked that they are 'still in Florida'. I think you should try everything once. I didn't love it the first time and played it a second and had a great time. It's definitely challenging and you can't try to overpower shots or be a hero recovering because it will bite you for sure. If the course seems daunting it's definitely worth it to play 1 tee up from what you would normally play unless you want like to try and beat the course.
@@John2Mitchell one of my writers, Troy, played it from the tips during our round because there was no established course record. I think he shot an 81 but gets to say he once held the course record at Karoo. The rest of us played a tee or two up and enjoyed the hell out of our round. I think it's an awesome property and love what Kyle Franz did with the architecture!

I bought a Motocaddy S7 3 years ago. It has been replaced once as the original was defective. The new one has been repaired 4 times over the last 2 years. Now Motocaddy will not replace an electronic component that they fitted as a repair and has now failed again after 18months. I have sent letters and emails and am now escalating the case to the Courts. And yet still Motocaddy are not responding to my communications! Beware...

I love it! I wish I could use it more often, though, because every time I do I enjoy the experience so much. The only negative I’ve noticed is that batteries for the remote tend to wear out quickly (so I always make sure I’ve got extra batteries in my bag).
