I don't understand the people sh***ing on this opening over the OG. Theres room in my heart for both but this really packs a punch, especially all the little sfx and flute that randomly pops giving it an ancient feel

I spent 1 hour singing "never say never" trying to figure out where df I heard that one line from. It bugged me and after spending so much time seeing Justin Beiber and The Fray I finally added "racing" to the end of it and this popped up!

Well, thanks to Transformers, I've found this show abd its pretty underrated after binging it

At least it got a proper ending and satisfying conclusion

This was the very first thing I watched on Netflix when they started the streaming platform. I managed to jailbreak my Nintendo Wii and was able to get Netflix on it without the disk. Didn’t have wifi so I had to get a 100ft Ethernet cable to stretch to my room to watch Netflix and I remember this being the very first thing I put on. Such good memories 😂

This song I never get tired of listening to when I workout

The issue with this song is that this is the only place to be able to listen to it. After 2015, it was pulled from all everything. The only exceptions are people who have it saved and post it on platforms. I love this opening and the show. When i first saw it. I didn't realize that it was doing reruns. I thought that it was remaches, and I would scream at the top of my lungs, cheering her on. I miss this show and this song.

Finally rediscovering this opening and it couldn't be any more awesome.

The only problem with this opening theme is that it’s way too short. I wish there was a full version because this theme was epic, but if it were longer it would be legendary.

Here a fun joke in the Dutch version our Intro was Literly the Japanese Version if you asked any teenage/ grown up who know this show nack then non chould sing the song as we didn understand it, we understand the tone and music but we litelry chould not simg the coreect language because most of use didnt knew it was the JP version although our ep where sproken in Dutch language only the Intro was a different one and we still laigh till this day saying " we know the show but litelry nobody knew the lyrics and how to sing it we only chould do the musical version and that it " XD later on some of use foudn out it was a jp intro. In short we never got this eng ver of the intro only the jp one

I had a list of songs that I had written down for an idea some years back. Today I found said list and couldn't figure out what song "Never Say Never" was, and why there was no artist next to it. And after scrolling through so much Justin Beiber listings for said song, I'm glad I found this vid again and proved I hadn't lost my mind.

Ahhhh the nostalgia! This anime was lowkey ahead of its time. It looks great all these years later, and the characters are still sick. This, Digimon Tamers and Frontier, and all the Toonami stuff were the reason I got so into anime.

Oban, Shinzo, Digimon, Beyblade, Get Ed, W.I.T.C.H., SRMTHFG, Battle B-Daman, and more shows on Jetix were the best. I miss this programming block and Toon Disney so much.

I grew up in Europe so I had only ever seen the original opening used in the French and Japanese versions. It's a song called "Chance to Shine" written by Yoko Kanno - the same person who did Cowboy Bebop's opening and Oban's closing theme "Waratteta". I think this opening is fine and I get why some American executive would feel the need for an action-adventure show to have something "punchier." But the classic opening worked great, it's a bit more whimsical but it still has that fun, action-orientated edge. Whereas I just can't help but feel like this one is so out of place. It's probably just be because I grew up with the other version, but the show is a French-Japanese co-production and their style and influence is so obvious throughout of every corner of the show, so having a 2000s American rock song playing feels disconnected. It's like when characters are eating rice balls but everyone is insisting they're donuts.
