Abandoned Vice from 70's RESTORATION
This rusty, abandoned vice cries out for renewal. I took it apart, cleaned it of rust and other impurities and applied epoxy coating.
The internal elements were preserved with lithium grease, and the guides were lubricated with molybdenum grease.
The vice is of Polish production, it comes from around the 70s, and the production plant still exists today under the name "Bison-Bial" in Białystok, Poland !
I hope you have fun with the video!

How to make a simple speed controller for almost all devices with AC electric motor? It's easy ! Take these few elements, add some creativity and commitment to it. The regulator enables smooth control of any power tool, it will be useful in every home and especially in every "do it yourself" workshop! The housing was designed based on a simple electrical box, the socket is a flush-mounted model...

    You made me glad I bought one of these yesterday. I've not got it out of the box yet. And I wasn't aware they do blade packs for it (hopefully still do). I'll go looking in the Middle of Lidl for them tomorrow. Cheers.

    Thanks for the lesson ,really helpful,yesterday i make my first cuts with this, your clamp system is genius,its a pity that the fence don't have holes for screwing a wooden fence and also the back surface isnt straight for easy clamping, other than that im really happy with it,thanks again😊

    Great video 👍 I had to laugh when I saw when you used a precice measurement tool to mark the 16mm. I did the same as a young man and my instructor slapped me direct in my face when he saw this. I never did this again 🤣

    Looks exactly the same as the Sheppach branded one I bought recently. I got mine for GBP 74.00 from B&Q. I've seen the same one in the Machine Mart catalogue for £200! I'm planning to change the plastic thumb screws for some nice brass or stainless ones in future.

    you should be cutting from back to front as the blade will be lifting the timber away from the surface and it should be pressing the timber down onto the surface. SAFER

    I have used this for my complete home renovation. Used is for plastic, soft wood, hard wood, treated wood etc. For the money, it's the best one you can buy. Well adjustable and despite the low cost, of really good quality.

    Last comment with no hate at all. Try and avoid buying cheap tools and specially cheap disks when you have very fast moving éléments so close to your face and hands. Gloves and face screen and cap are mandatory, not for the little sparks protection but when your disk rips off, and little debris are flying all over you. You may also overspeed à big disk putting it on a little machine where the lack of torque is compensated by a higher rpm. Check the specs of your disk before use. Have fun being safe !

    • @garthqueen
      @garthqueen Год назад

      5" discs are same speed rating as 4.5" discs.Its only when you get up to 7" and above that rating drops to 6500 rpm.

  • @jfp976
    @jfp976 Год назад

    Why don't you buy a 125mm grinder from start ? The tiny bearing and the little torque of the motor are not designed to withdraw the efforts implied by a big disk.

    Dangerous handling of your cover at 5:55. If the cover snaps from your hands, the skin of your fingers will be seriously injured.
