Good morning ma'am After long time, back again Love your teaching
Good morning.. Yes .. after almost 13 months due to busy schedule .. for my students..I am glad you are still connected .. best wishes
Thanku for your wishes ma'am. I completed my diploma this year.
Hearty congratulations 👍
Is next video uploaded or not?😢
I will try to upload next week if not uploaded earlier ..
Is it possible that base shear would may be have negative value and what does it mean?
Yes base shear value can be negative.. Lateral load is considered in positive as well as negative horizontal direction, max, min values of base shear are response of these loads.. I hope this will be helpful.
I have never seen a explanation like this.. wow...i think its the best ever in youtube .. .
Happy to see that this is helping the students.. Thanks for your comment
Nice Explanation
Thanks 🙏
EXPLAINED VERY NICELY....HIGHLY APPRECIATE SHARING THIS KNOWLEDGE....PLEASE KEEP MAKING SUCH VIDEOS
Thanks for your good comment
Mam how can fixed end moment develop between two hinged supports ?
In MDM, first we have to consider each member as fixed beam and calculate FEM. Then distribute it as per support conditions and distribution factor.
@@DrSuchitaHirde_CivilEnggVideos thank u mam
Very nicely explained 🎉
Thank you 🙏
Madam I have a question, 33.08 minute table to get IDL ordinate = BMD ordinate/19.2 for AB span in video. For CB span IDL ordinate = BMD ordinate/19.2. But it's not IDL ordinate = BMD ordinate/19.67. whey ??? can you please explain.
We have to divide all the ordinates by ordinate at B which is 19.2; the ordinate 19.67 is at 1 m right of support B. I hope this will help you. Best wishes
@@DrSuchitaHirde_CivilEnggVideos thank you , madam
Awesome explanation.
Thanks.. Best wishes
Mam one small building full design
Okay.. I will try in future.. Best wishes
But how we gonna decide the nature of the curve while drawing the ILD? Either it’s concave or convex ?
Assume a flexible wire with pins at supports. Just Imagine how it will take shape if unit displacement is given in the direction of function.
how are you calculating the force components of all axes
Please refer following video for more details about calculations of components of forces ruclips.net/video/1Q3VaVOPaVI/видео.htmlsi=OpOJOT9Ngs4K6xx8
Good place to learn
Thanks 🙏
This is not the right manner to teaching on online mode please use paper and pen so it can be easy to understand.... Hope you will understand ma'am
Thanks for suggestions.. Actually I had created this channel to reach out to my students during Covid period. Since I am very busy as HoD of reputed institute I prefer to share my knowledge as per my convenience. My advice to you is If you are unable to understand my presentation then you can look for what is comfortable to you. Many platforms are available. All the best.
❤❤❤
🙏😊
pls which textbook are you using for structural analysis
This is from my 30+ years experience.. logic developed by me.. not given in any book.
Respected mam, I have greate confusion between two questions 1. List various methods to calculate deflection of beam 2. List various methods to analyse indeterminate structures.
Second question is normally referred to calculation of bending moment and shear force to draw BMD and SFD.
Respected madam, very nice explanation. In this one thing I did not understand is how l (moment of inertia) is assumed as I, 2I, 1.5I .
It is given data not assumed
नमस्ते मॅडम Will you please share a numerical example on designing of beam with wall load+slab load+self wt for a two span continuous beam with point load also...
Okay.. I will try to share at the earliest
Full Detailed video, all confusion is cleared. Excellent ❤
Thanks for comments.. Best wishes
Thank you sir!
Thanks
Thank you sir!
Thank you Madam, for clearing the concept
Best wishes
Madam, you have made the video in such a way that even a beginner can thoroughly understand. Thank you so much
Good to know that this helped you .. please share to needy students if you feel appropriate
why dont you include two way slab, continuous beam and column design on your youtube channel fore free.
Busy schedule.. I will try to upload in future
@@DrSuchitaHirde_CivilEnggVideos please do it as soon as possible . it will be very helpful for engineers like me, thanks.
Ma'am 13 quintal steel is enough for 120 sqm slab
It depends on various parameters.
Mam, what is difference between Global Stiffness matrix and Stiffness matrix?
Element stiffness matrix is for a particular member where as global stiffness matrix is sum of all the element stiffness matrices for that structure.
Thank you! It's so helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
thanks a lot...love and respect from B angladesh
Thanks
great explanation with excellent preparation of slides maam, just found out about the channel, im studying for exams referring videos, thanks for the effort for bringing your knowledge to youtube. also please if you get free time, please try to make conjugate beam and unit load methods videos maam, thanks again for this amazing content
Sure.. Thanks for your comment
Namaste ma'am , I love your teaching style After long time you uploaded a video
Yes.. due to busy schedule.. Thanks 🙏
Hedao madam
mam thoda fast boliye
This is for slow learners. You may watch other channels suitable to your speed.
Dear madam, if moment at internal hinge is zero, then why is the load at D in the conjugate beam is not becoming zero?
Since the external unit moment is applied at hinge, the value of bending moment at hinge is one…and hence the load on CB at hinge is not zero.
@@DrSuchitaHirde_CivilEnggVideos thank you so much madam, for your response.
Madam I want to aquire your book Steel Sturcture. Is it be available in digital copy and where to find it?I would pay for digital copy if it'll be made available. Please reply 🙏

Thanks .. Best wishes
please solve a problem containing two internal hinge
Sure
Thanks alot mam for valuable information
Thanks and all the best 👍
Thanku ma'am nicely explained
Thanks Swati 😊
Very Nice Video, my question is I modelled a structure and inserted slabs using both methods as shell thin and membrane, when modelling slabs as shell thin, the supporting beams had considerably less bending moments almost 80% less, while membrane slabs were transferring full loads to beams as expected, therefore In real life situation what moment should I design the beam with? Should I design the beam with the moment from Shell thin or membrane method? In the same context, when designing slabs as shell thin, even if the slab has its own stiffness, well understood, then how does the load transfer path look like? How does the load reach to the column? Wouldnt it require to pass through beams and then to the column, if so wouldnt the moments in the beam be high? And eventually be same as the beams from the membrane slab method analysis?
Membrane is equivalent to frame without slab. In reality the thin shell with property modifier of 0.001 may be used as conservative approach or else thin shell with usual property modifier as per IS 1893 are used as optimistic design approach.
thank you madam😊.pls suggest me good book for structural analysis for beginner and advanced student.
Thanks for comment.. you may refer NPTEL pdfs available online
Thank you ma'am
Thanks for appreciating efforts.. very few feel to do so 😊 Best wishes
I had a very basic doubt madam. Let say normal load on a column is 50Tonnes so we design that column factoring the load and thus taking 75Tonnes for its final design. Now, while designing footing we need to multiply 50 by 1.1 or 75 by 1.1
Size on the basis of 50 x 1.1
@@DrSuchitaHirde_CivilEnggVideos So, in that case if 60 tonnes of load occurs on column then it would sustain and transfer to footing, but Footing would fail as we have taken 50 x 1.1 = 55 Tonnes for footing design, am I correct here madam ?
Since thickness of footing is decided on the basis of factored upward soil pressure, it will not fail.
thankyou madam 🙏
found it very useful watching it again after 6 months
😌 good to know that
extremely helpful video
Thanks for your comment 🙏 Please do share if you feel appropriate .. my best wishes
Thanks again for our video mam
Most welcome
This is not a structural bracing. It's architecture design.
