The Drogheda Bell Ringer

From an interested 10 year old, within a year, to leading on the tenor in St Patrick's Cathedral Dublin on new years eve 2023 at 12 years of age. This channel is an acknowledgement of the support from all in the Irish change ringing world, also those in the UK that have opened up their towers to us.
He is a member of St Peters Bell Ringers Guild Drogheda and a member of the Society Of Bell Ringers St Patricks Cathedral Dublin.

News2day RTÉ 2022. Cormac and Campanology in the town of Drogheda
Cormac interviewed in Primary school about his passion for bells back in 2022 and aired on RTE News2day (Irish National Broadcaster). He was a 6th class student at SMPPS in Drogheda at the time, and had great support from all the teachers and pupils there. The town of Drogheda was very proud to have such a young man interested in continuing the art of change ringing in the local bell tower in Drogheda.

Having my dad help me raise the tenor 45-1-18 (5086 lb or 2307 kg) in C (520.5 Hz). He takes instruction well from the tower captain does my dad. The inscription on the tenor is 'Ad Majorem Dei gloriam', installed in 1897 by John Taylor & Co

One of the team fell ill and the team required a stand in tenor the night before the competition, no cup win but we got the Bronze. Well played all. The excitement is palpable at the end. Father and son duo compete together for the first time.
